Tbh I'd rather Lana make a politicl album where she knows exactly what she's talking about or just drop the idea completely. All or nothing. None of this 'political/socially aware vibes'. Yawn. Like @@Terrence Loves Me mentioned, most of us use Lana's music as an escapism from all this political shit IRL. Another album like LFL isn't what I would persoanally want.

Let's just all agree that Lana should have OTTR kinda lyricism on LDR6.

If it's a new album I wonder what it'll be called. Every album has a really good name, and tbh I didn't expect the title 'Lust for Life' when it was revealed.

If I could have a Lana album based off of one song, it would be Gods & Monsters.

She really should do grunge next. Ya'll know how crazy the crowd went when Lana perfomed Heart Shaped Box. Now imagine 12-17 songs like that on her album.

I'm praying she stays away from the trap beats.

Can we please drop the cherry video? Yes it would have been iconic but I think Lana is gonna focus her attention on the new EP/album now.

All I know is that I want this album to be cohesive and to not leave us guessing (unknown release date, album aesthetic being different from album trailer etc.)

Might as well share my brutally honest opinion. I love the song, first and foremost. However, the last 2 lines kinda cheapen the song? Idk...it just doesn't flow well. And also I hope this is a demo because I feel like it's lacking more instruments. It could be 10/10 if she adds strings or some acoustic guitar but it's still gorgeous.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but if you listen to the White Mustang intro (at the beginning of this thread) and then quickly listen to Happiness is a Butterly straight after, it's almost like it's the same song because I noticed the keys and tone of the piano are pretty much the same...
