This is slightly off topic from what everyone is talking about..but I currently listened to both Love and B A R..and they both still sound very slow paced and dreary. Like, I don't mind it but I really hope this album is more upbeat in tempo. And it still sounds muffled..even Love. I don't know why that is or if a certain instrument is overpowering Lana's vocals or if she's using too much reverb but I just hope the rest of the album is more crisp in sound.

Tbh I'm not keen on B A R or Architecture, I just find Architecture more appealing. Tbh I think she should just come up with an entire different name.

I'm kinda an artsy person so maybe that's why I'm fond of Architecture. To me architecture could mean things like building a new art form, building new relationships, building a new home (finding solace in a new place?) etc. The trouble with Best American Record is that if it truly is meant to be ironic (especially in the times were living in right now), the irony would have to be apparent and for the title to be apparent, the album will have to be executed pretty cleverly so people won't think she's literally labelling her album as the 'best American record'.

The hate for Architecture is unbearable. Like, I've grown to accept and kinda like B A R, but it just sounds so.... Idk. Fiddly. Architecture sounds really good, I like one-word names. Architecture makes me think of a grand creation (the album?) but that just my opinion. *sips tea*

Actually I used to have a YouTube channel. When copyright infringement is detected, a disclaimer will come up with original name of the song. I think it detects the audio back to the original source (or however copyright detection is done) so... Maybe that's what B A R was actually registered as?

Tbh I'm not sure what it is either but I like to think of it as the prologue to AKA. There are 6 songs : Brite Lites, Get Drunk, Jimmy Necco, Jump, Put Me In A Movie and Yayo. I think they're acoustic/demo version before some of them went on AKA. The EP was supposedly recorded in 2007.
