First single in mid-late September
Early January release (less competition with other artists)
1st single: Mid-late September (Audio only)
2nd single: Late October (Music video)
3rd single: Mid-late November (Music video)
Polishing the album and getting it produced at vinyl factories in early December
DNC = Drifting North Currents ( @Whore of Tropico pointed out the waves on the jacket = currents)
Or, DNC = Del Norte Colorado (a name of a town in the state)
Also who was it that could read website coding? We need to look for clues

I'm def getting a lot of Old Hollywood vibes from Lana lately, I think this could be the aesthetic for LDR9. First the shoot, now those clips on her Instagram. Elizabeth Taylor is coming to my mind idk why. James Dean and Paul Newman vibezzzzzz

Maybe Lana got the green light to cover one of his songs? I know that it was a problem for any artist to get permission

It’s a lot easier here in certain places-Robert smith has no issues.
I feel like Lana would really like it in Torquay (also called the English Riviera)
SpoilerEither that or maybe somewhere a bit up north in the countryside. Courtney Loves lives here in the country (I think? I read that somewhere lol)

Lana needs to work with British producers again because they knew exactly how to give something different

Omg imagine Lana being the one to coin the genre 'Cunty Country'

I'm pretty sure this country thing is the Capitol Records deal she had last year. Probably just covers.
I wouldn't mind country from Lana, as long as we're talking 1950s-1970's country vibe, not faux-cowboy country pop vibes.

I'm not sure how I feel about a collab with The Neighborhood. Their recent stuff is meh. I wouldn't mind as long as they keep the collab on their album, but not on Lana's. If anything a collab with FJM is waaaaay overdue at this point, and is more fitting for Lana's current genre. Maybe we might get another Barrie collab since he had Lana on his album?

I just know we're getting piano again. If it's like WW then I wouldn't mind, but I'm not gonna expect strings or guitar. A jazzy sound would be amazing, especially if it's like Buddy's Rendezvous. I have more faith in the lyrics though

This song is actually one I've always skipped but recently started getting into and it might now be one of my favs on the album? The lyrics to this are so fucking good
The way she sings "I promise you, like, a million tomorrows"
And then the "I've been runnin' on star drip IV's for so long" someone get this woman an award!
And then "With lithium came poetry" bitch that whole line is poetry

I think so? I remember a while back when she wore it and someone messaged/commented to her stylist or whatever and asked if DNC stood for the album name and they liked/commented back confirming it

My fake LDR9 tracklist, just something that I predict will be in keeping with the current vibe from her:
1. Del Norte County
2. Southern Comfort
3. Sweeter Than You (Ricky Nelson cover)
4. Gardenias
5. White Hot Sequoias
6. Lineage
7. Valley of Death
8. Lucid Dreaming in Linen
9. Sundries
10. Fresh Water Pearls
11. Domestic Bliss
12. It's Always You (Chet Baker cover)
