Sorry but I find it very hard to be sympathetic towards them. I don't think anyone should have to go out like that and it's absolutely horrific. But like.. come on.

My lighter is decent on the outside, but inside it's rusty and old looking and is almost hard to open 

I listened to Peppers a lot when it first came out and loved it immediately, but for some reason it's been one of my favorite songs recently. I'm addicted. 

My lighter and necklace came yesterday! The necklace is actually really pretty irl.

I know I say it all the time, but I can't believe how iconic this woman is. 

I still can't get over how good she looked. I'm glad we got full glam and a dress/heels (unlike when I saw her on the NFR tour and she came out in a sweater, full length skirt, and sneakers). She really reminded everyone who the fuck she is.

I genuinely don't understand why people are so desperate for a version without the BTS footage. You're getting looks on looks on looks but also Lana's actual personality.

There's no actual story to the footage they were filming, the BTS is the story so I'm not sure what you're hoping for??

I think people’s default for Lana sometimes is to assume in her songs that she’s always singing about men but that’s only partially. A lot of the time she’s singing about her struggles with fame and critics.

I get what you're saying and I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, but to me the song is so clearly about a relationship. I guess I'm desperate for meaning bc the rest of the song resonates so much with me that I want to figure out how to make the chorus about me too lol

Maybe I'm an idiot but I'm no closer to understanding what Candy Necklaces represent in the song. Obviously in the video, they're being depicted as real necklaces and I can get the imagery. But still don't understand in the context of the lyrics. 

She literally explained why it's behind the scenes footage IN the video. The BTS was the entire vision for the music video so stop complaining and just enjoy the looks.
