Nah. They both admitted they were being catty out of boredom, that's what's problematic sweetie. Why not just answer it here? Your super funny cattiness has already buried the thread in a few pages deep anyways.
-
You said you aren't down for people criticizing your appearance while claiming to be secure with yourself. What's the problem? You'll say someone else isn't hot but you hate the idea of others making observations on your appearance? I don't get it.
-
Dope. Fail to see how that answers my second question, but dope.
-
Well you're the one who simplified your weight loss journey to "a mere 6 months" so you should be telling yourself that, really. Why aren't you here for it if you're secure with yourself?
-
Not as much as you think you do, obviously.
-
Self-love and self-acceptance are two different concepts. You can "love yourself" and still be insecure.
-
People are "coming for me" too. Who cares. Of course it means the person is insecure about a particular feature, otherwise they would not pursue that path.
-
You're clearly not secure with how you look considering you confessed that you would get plastic surgery. The entire reason behind plastic surgery is to try and rectify certain insecurities. You got all pissy because I said half a dozen pages of "DIS GUY UGLY!!! BAHHH!" is boring, like it's some kind of revelation that Lana has unconventional looking guys in her videos. I'm sorry Lana isn't giving you guys some new ejac material, but that's just how it is. I never said you weren't allowed to say it, but don't expect others to sit back and nod along like a pigeon.

That's just the cold, harsh truth. Most men will not give the 200lb+ Arcadia the time of day. That's why she admitted that she is in fact insecure despite claiming otherwise and revealed that she hasn't been out in two years. If she can't take it, then she shouldn't dish it. Just as she's entitled to her opinion on the guy in the video, I'm entitled to make conclusions regarding her. So you're fine with Arcadia talking about how others will "need" thousands of dollars to "fix" their faces whereas she will not? You don't have jack shit to say about that? How fascinating. Seems like you only care if something offends you personally. Aren't you the one who had that embarrassing meltdown about Lana when she released Coachella? The double standard is hilarious. It's all peachy to gossip for pages on end about some actor and imply that others will need thousands of dollars to fix their faces whereas you will not, but when I point out that none of you are in any position to obsess over another person's appearance, you go nuts. "Wahhh! How do you know what we look like? Wahhh!" + editing your post an hour later in a sad attempt to convince yourself. I'm entitled to make that evaluation as much as you're entitled to draw up an opinion about another persons looks.
-
Exactly, therein lies the problem. You're bored which results in you blabbing out a bunch of boring shit.
-
Whatever you say babe. Happy for ya. You should probably tell yourself that considering your initial post to me went from "gurl no" to "stop". You were trying to be catty, at least own it without the expense of falling back on the "it's not serious" wagon.
-
You're always talking about how overweight you are, so saying that this guy isn't your type is honestly pointless because it isn't like he'd look twice at you to begin with. You talk about feeling ashamed to weigh yourself yet you think you have the right to say others aren't "hot". Truly living up to the "bullies are the insecure ones" theory.
-
Obviously. Just like I can express how boring it is to do so for 4 pages. Cool? Cool. Not like any of you are in a position to talk about appearances anyway, let's be real here.
-
Of course not, we all have different tastes. Not everyone has to like the endless bitching about it either though. Gets old, boring. Ya know?
-
I'm not saying it is, I'm just throwing something out there for the hell of it. Fuck off. Thanks. Yeah probably not, just something I had in mind. I think it's more productive than complaining about how ugly the guy is.

Seeing the Axl Rose lookalike made me think- could this song be connected to Axl {or perhaps Axl + another guy}? It's about someone Lana considers a star after all, just like Groupie Love. In the snippet we see the guy in a bar holding an instrument around a bunch of girls which mirrors the opening line of Groupie Love. All those GNR references in Bel Air combined with the fact that Axl drove a Chevrolet Bel Air- it doesn't seem so far-fetched. It isn't like Lana has been shy to admit how enthralled she is over Axl, she even wore that GNR/LDR jacket last year and they're both friends with Andrei Gillott. There's a white Mustang being driven in the Don't Cry video as well. Plus when Axl opened up to Rolling Stone he said the one dream he remembers is being a wild mustang.

How fucking cool. Would love another cover. -
She's listening to No Quarter by Led Zeppelin in her new story. That track is from their Houses Of The Holy album which is mentioned in Architecture.

I had these exact sentiments after listening to Get Free a couple times. I don't know if that's what she really says in the censored part of the song, but Lana's been mentioning The Shangri-Las a lot this time around- Amy loved them. She would mention them in interviews all the time and frequently covered Remember (Walking In The Sand) during the bridge of Back To Black. -

Thank you so much. Glad you liked it. -
She looks and sounds gorgeous. I love the beehive with the olive branch accessory- beautiful way to pay tribute to Amy. Would love to hear Lana cover one of her songs.

13 Beaches - "Ballroom of my mind" could possibly refer to Five To One by The Doors - "Your ballroom days are over, baby." + Lana posted a photo of Jim Morrison & Pam Courson on her honeymoon account a few months ago. "Underneath the pines" could possibly refer to Nirvana's cover of Where Did You Sleep Last Night - "In the pines, in the pines." Cherry - I Fall To Pieces by Patsy Cline- I remember Lana uploaded a video of herself in the woods while Patsy was playing sometime last year. White Mustang - I was thinking maybe the whistling near the end was inspired by Jealous Guy by John Lennon since she was listening to that song while doing her makeup. Could be a stretch though. Tomorrow Never Came - Ask Me Why by The Beatles Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles Tomorrow Never Comes by Elvis Presley Tomorrow May Never Come by Yoko Ono Change - A Change Is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke Get Free - Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black) by Neil Young - a line from this song was also included in Kurt Cobain's suicide note. My My, Hey Hey (Out Of The Blue) by Neil Young

I love how all of Lana's songs connect in some way or another- even if it's inadvertent at times. Awesome thing is there's hundreds more than just the ones I listed above. -

Fuck yes, it's beautiful. I'm a sucker for Lana's narratives. The development as the album progresses is amazing- the dynamics and everything. Groupie Love - "My babe made me sing to a fire escape City girl but she grew up in the tri-state" God Bless America - "I hear the sweetest melodies On the fire escapes of the city" 13 Beaches - "And I still get lonely" God Bless America - "Even when I'm alone I'm not lonely You better believe nobody could make me feel lonely"
