Even though I don't like Justin's music/persona myself, I don't like seeing people go through which is obviously a breakdown. I remember seeing all that Britney stuff over the news a few years ago, it was devastating for her fans and I don't think she has or will truly get over that time of her life. The media has a lot to answer for, they can ruin lives and make people think they're going crazy. Unfortunately, it's nothing new for young people in the media.

They clearly don't have any solid ground to lean on in their own lives which they can possibly take refuge in the bad publicity and bad management. It is very sad. Fortunately, Lana herself seemed head strong and determined throughout what could only be called a media witchhunt against her and her fans respect her more that she didn't change herself, imo.

I spent a while yesterday reading several articles on this and seeing other peoples inputs on facebook, twitter etc. This is absolutely disgusting and it makes me feel physically sick. Unfortunately this is something that happens everywhere around the world. I read quite a few articles that referred to the rapists as "poor young boys who had so much ahead of them." When I read that I literally sat gobsmacked with my mouth hanging open utterly confused as to why these horrible men are being referred to as "poor young boys". I really could not give one little shit if they had their "whole lives ahead of them". I hope their lives are ruined. I hope the guilt of what they did to that girl never leaves them. 

On facebook/twitter/etc I saw a few status updates saying things like "she shouldn't have been so drunk then" or "she knew the guys, she didn't forcefully say no, therefore it's not rape". No. There are no excuses for the acts these boys committed against her, and it certainly is rape. She didn't forcefully fight them off because she wasn't in a fit state to, but I'm betting she would have at least mumbled  that she didn't want this. And even if she didn't say anything (probably due to being very drunk) she wouldn't have wanted any of that to happen. Most (do not mistake me for saying that i mean every man) men will not know the fear of walking down a street even in broad daylight by yourself if there is a man walking nearby, or being at a party and getting more drunk than you anticipated. From personal experience I can tell you that the fear that you really could be raped even just walking down your street is a common fear among women, and it's a horrible, horrible feeling. Rape is rape, even if the victim did not forcefully resist, if the victim said no, yet the person went ahead anyway or the victim was far too drunk to consent to sex then it is rape and these boys should not be pityed or shown as "poor young boys with bright futures ahead of them". They should be painted as rapists and carry that around with them for the rest of their lives without pity.

Sadly, so true. Especially when one has been harrassed, molested or attacked before. I've been assaulted and harrassed before and this fear is all to real for me. I couldnt've said your post better.

He's going to prison. You can't bring the people he killed back just by killing him, it won't help anyone.

But I just think, if God forbid, I or anyone I know had children and that happened to them, what I or they would think. Have you seen some programmes where people go to prison? Not the idea of what I would think a prison would look like, it seems too lenient to me. They can get free education and things like that. Those kids won't get the chance to graduate but people who go to prison may get out one day..

Well, in my opinion everybody should have their human rights, even if they've violated another person's. I mean, what gives the person who actually has to kill the guy the right to do that? One judge? I just think murder is illegal, even if the victim is a murder.

Even if someone has taken away an innocent person's human rights? Where's the justice? 

I didn't knew she was a racist. I know she doesn't like Muslims. But muslim  is not really a race is a religion and being against a religion or massive imigrants  doesn't make you a racist maybe intolerante but racist?

Sounds like a racist thing to me. Why would she specifically hate Muslims and not Christians for example?
