I'm livid. The new song is almost unlistenable. It's not about the lyrics, on the first listen they seem better than LFL, but the production is so amateurish and out of place that the whole thing is just jarring. I don't know what to think anymore tbh, I love her voice but here her singing is just mudded, drenched in so much reverb that is just ridiculous. The way this song was rolled out...she's really working hard on ending her career

It's not about the sales. It's about the quality of the interaction between the artist and his/hers audience. I'm absolutely not interested in seeing FJM performing but I love to see Lana again but maybe we don't deserve it.

There's still a possibility that it's fake news. There's a clear contrast between Coachella snd Woodstock and maybe she'll underline it. I don't know if some of you had the same feeling watching her insta story where she praised FJM being on the radio. She was kind of passive-aggressive, I felt a little jelousy and bitterness in her attitude. She was like I had this guy singing randomly on my shows a while ago with a flower crown on his head and now his whiny voice and slow, melancholic songs are on the radio while nobody gives a shit about my music. FJM is parading his pretentious music and whiny voice on late night shows with the ubiquity of Lana visiting Starbucks while our fave is anouncing her next song on Anghami. Sad

Anghami? Te title is a little strange but maybe the theme of the song it's about an arc in time (like the Love video) and seems to have some political undertones.The random release date for the new song, no LFL video, this era is still a huge mess

G-Eazy has the face of a small time crook, he’s well over 6 feet, dark, kind of good looking and artiste, let’s face it, it’s a killer combination for most women unfortunately. Whelp, it seems that Lana fell hard for him. They are in the sex phase now where characters don’t matter but bookmark me this relationship won’t last for too long. I’m kind of surprised that she’s stanning for rap so hard. There are some quality rappers out there but G-Eazy isn't one of them. It’s a big change and kind of disappointing from stanning Daniel Johnston and singing heavenly Some Things Last a Long Time to shaking her beautiful ass on rap. I miss Barrie too sometimes

The only situation when this forum could be in trouble is when messes around with copyrighted material. While puting the blame on others is usually an easy way for eschewing responsibility I don't think that's working anymore in Lana"s case. Her management was incompetent many times during her career but Lana is in full control, she has a very difficult personality and I don't think that her managers have any leverage over her anymore. I'm convinced that they try hard to save her career in spite of Lana's unwillingness to promote or to perform. They have a percent from her revenues and they are motivated to make her earn more, they are more interested in saving this era than Lana

90% Marina will be on the album. I think that the meeting between them was part of the rollout of the collaborations. That's making 4 collaborations on an album with 12, maximum 15 songs. Now I'm reealy worried about the quality of the album especially after the title track it's a conceptual and lyrical low point in Lana"s career. I think that the release date of the 26th is real because it appeared on to many sites. At this point my guess is that Lana practically abandoned the album and the release is in the hands of her labels which will release it on 26th without any hype. She clearly fell for this rapper caricature and her head it's elsewhere but it seems that she doesn't care to much about this album anyway

Do you think that DL or her managers are stopping her from performing? There are natural performers and there are artists like Lana who need a great deal, of preparation to perform well. She never took seriously this part of her career and she became crippled because of it: she cannot promo her stuff, she practically didn't sing live her songs from her last album. This is unsustainable on the long run

I don’t know if Lana’s meeting with Marina was spontaneous or not but it was a good thing for both career wise. Lana seems to me that she is trying to reach out left and right lately. I don’t know if that was planned by her or by her team but this can stabilize her fanbase and add some people who resented her before. So, from this perspective her attitude changed, she’s not playing the misunderstood drama queen which is refreshing. Her problem is that she’s still afraid of performing and this could still kill/greatly diminish her career. “Love” screams to be performed everywhere.

Hanging out with Marina was Lana"s best promo move this era. Such positive vibes

I don't know why, I'm not a big Marina fan, but seeing them together made me feel better about everything in the world.

The album cannot be released on May 26th. That would be uber trolling even at Lana's lofty standards. It's incomprehensible to me why they didn't shot a video for LFL or if they did why isn't released yet? I think that everything can happen yet in this era (besides the 26th release) like she's pushing back to June or July or to an even later date. Maybe they are underwhelmed at the response to LFL and she will rework the album.

In my view music is about passion and creativity. I felt passion and creativity in OTTR, VG, BE, SOC, WC, AD, TBD and even in Love. LFL has no passion and creativity: what we have instead is lazy lyrics, repetitive music and the biggest problem is that LFL is the title track and one of the lead singles which magnifies these shortcomings. LFL was ridiculed today in The Guardian and unfortunately Lana and her work was ridiculed too. Love and LFL are from different planets and I don't expect any coherence this era. Everybody is talking about our meltdown but the real meltdown is Lana's. Maybe I'm not the best judge of behavior but she seems to me depressed as ever, she tries hard to play the grining, happy girl but I don't buy it. I rather believe that she's having a meltdown again than she didn't even tried to present to her fans her new music (again). It's not about the photoshoots anymore and the insipid interviews, there is such disconnect between these and her casual or public apperances that I'm not really interested anymore. What I want from her is to sing live, to PERFORM her music, I want to see that she believes in her work and she proudly sings her NEW songs

95% of the people on this forum are true Lana fans who care about her and her music. I never experienced such discontent with her and it's not just here. This will be her third release without promo, without any meaningfull interaction with her fans. We don't have any profesional recordings of live performances of the UV and HM songs and she practically didn't sing any song from HM live besides the title track. Do you belive that we didn't get a proper live performance of Artdeco? People are tired being trolled by "coming soon" statements, anticlimatic public apperances, sloppy videos etc. I really hope that she uses LB and realizes that her career depends 100% on her fandom because she has absolutely no appeal left with the GP. Personnaly I never felt so little interest in her new music, my expectations are very low for this album and maybe is better that way, she can prove me wrong

Ben and Ed are annoying and I think that they mismanaged her career in key moments (or at least they didn't advise her right). They clearly are not enthused by her new release and they are concentrating more on DL. I think that everybody involved in the release (labels included) are just fed up with Lana's insecurities and unwillingness to promote her release. She needs a major shakeup after this era including management, producers, stylist but foremost she needs to clear her head about what kind of artist she wants to be. I would advise her to totally ditch any pop ambitions (LFL is a dud) and move towards blues, jazz and soft-rock (UV is still her best album).

Her face is asymmetric and she looks quite different from different positions. Her nose was a one time correction job which is not a great alteration to her face. She always had nice, prominent cheeks. The only thing that she messes around are her lips but far less than some people are suggesting.
