I've been reflecting on her recent bbc performance (and how much I felt disappointed) and was reading through these pages about others commenting on it and I'm just wondering what's wrong. Obviously mixing was shit and there was clear nervousness in her face but even then she was off key for most of the set and I just feel bad, I've seen people say she's losing her voice and spark but yet this was her last year at the Freak Premiere Like i don't get it, she sounds incredible, smooth, and lively with her voice and interaction with the fans. Has she aged quicker over 2016? Is it the venue sizes? (lowkey Auburn hair was gorgeous seeing her go back to that she looks so youthful with it dark brown is tired Lana please). Hell, even the more acoustic West Coast sounds so sweet and proves how her songs can transcend their initial production; I just hope LfL can see more of this and less of BBC types of vocals, I wouldn't even mind if she switched to smaller venues and arenas for her tour, it looks like her environment in which she thrives. (i.e. Chateau Marmont BtD live, her old bar performances during Lizzy Grant, etc.) I just want her to be comfortable and not have this wavering era flop like it's predicted to be

some instrumentals vary between live & studio, but goddamnit i really want to hear an hq version of that instrumental with Lana solo singing LFL; it'd sound so pretty i.e. ottr is a bit more jazzy than speedy live

i agree with the second part, I wanted lfl to bump during the summer and vacation back home, not to be able to play it a week or two before I head back to school :/, I was keeping myself going because it was what I was looking forward to to make my least fav season better- but now I gotta wait until its 85% over to rejoice

No shade to Ben or Ed but I feel like Lana could benefit from a fan-ran management/promo team to style her for gigs and get her some in more festivals+ increase radio play, I don't dislike Ben or Ed (def don't hate them as much as some people on here do, but idk. Something like a haus of gaga style team would be nice, like hell reading some people's here preferred roadmaps sounded incredibly nice and well spaced out to give her mainstream recognition without it being awkward or 'selling out' (looking @ you Katy with your apparent 50 separate advertisements for ur flop era). idk. I feel like there was so much potential for this era- everything from the cinematic poster for her comeback single 'Love' (could've been a mini short film like Ride lbr), to the ready for pop summer bop song LFL not even being given to radio stations, to the weirdly paced mag interviews all to lead up to a 2 month wait- i just feel like this era could've been btd 2.0; even if the album wouldn't've been. & just to add the LFL mv (albeit released a long ass time after the audio) trended for almost 3 days and brought the song back into top 200/100 (forget which one), and guessed what happened after that to keep the momentum, jackshit, that's what
