Well I avoided LB yesterday bc of the racist line - and mostly bc I knew some of you would be racist to defend the line... I didn’t like the song at all, actually I loved it in the first 3 or 4 plays and then I got bored... I’m excited for the radio interview tho

Still feels like it’s not done..

Guys the only red in honeymoon is the UO vinyl, there’s nothing red in the era tbh. The cover is blue, the CD is blue, the major mv (hbtb) is blue, she mentions “blue is her favorite color” in one song, there’s a lot of pics of the sky in the booklet, it’s a 100% a blue era

For me, Honeymoon is blue. And lust for life is dark red (the font in the cover, the CD, etc). Honeymoon: peaceful blue sky, the ocean... blue blue blue BLUUUEE and nfr is definitely green

So I decided to write some lines and I felt so inspired by the beach and the birds and the flowers, and by some 1960’s poet I was reading that day. I think it’s beautiful how a musician can catch the energy of young people around the world and turn it into chords and stuff, even in those tumultuous times we’re living, you know.
