I'm currently sitting at the botanical garden with palm trees, citrus trees, agave and other tropical plants around me and I'm listening to Ultraviolence while drawing. It started to get windy and I felt raindrops falling down, so I took cover under a roof. But this place is one of my favorite places in my university town and Lana makes everything even more magical. ❤️ Plus, a couple just had their wedding ceremony here. I wish I could show you a picture but my phone won't let me.

I think I've begun to look for clothes that's similar to what Lana wore during the UV era. I think all the UV photos by Neil Krug and from photoshoots for magazines are printed in my mind. I love everything she wore. *-*

When I first saw the black and white trailer for Lust For Life, I wondered what all those mysterious symbols meant and thought they must have some kind of connection with the songs the album will contain. With the songs we know is going to be in the album, and with the snippets Lana has shared with us, what are your thoughts? The shown symbols were: A red strawberry (at 0:17) An hourglass An antique wine glass Planet Earth (Hearts from Lanas eyes as she gazes the Earth) A telephone A cooking pot/pan A galaxy X♥O A griffin (?) A moon Planet Mercury A balloon whisk The planets of the Milky Way American symbols (Mount Rushmore, Statue of Liberty) Edit: a ladder To be honest, I'm not sure if there really is a connection between the symbols and the songs anymore. I mean... a whisk? That was probably for the "What shall I cook up for the kids today?" part of the monologue. But on the other hand "XO" could've been a symbol for "Love" and the wine glass might have been for "Cherry". I also think the American symbols might be for "God Bless America".Maybe this is her way of telling us the tracklist? Will the album end with GBA? Also, do you think we'll see more of the space theme? I loved it.

But Lana... those shoes?? They look so plastic and uncomfy. ( ; - ; )

I'm actually excited to hear the full lyrics, I prefer it over White Mustang, especially if the chorus is just going to be "Your white mustang, your white mustang". The same for BAR, the chorus is a bit too long with "you did it all for fame" every second line. But BAR sounds amazing, so I forgive her. I have a feeling that Change is more creative, lyrically wise. But well, I'm excited to hear all her songs. I'm very supportive, I've only heard two songs of Lana so far that I really don't like.

I think it was fun at first with all the photoshoots, interviews and Lana the Witch trailer. I think Lana is feeding us snippets to keep us going for the delayed album release, and I actually like those clips. It's like shes sharing a part of her working progress too (especially the clip of "Roses bloom for you").
