    This isn't Lana... But it looks like ROB can get a little sassy, too.

    I've never understood why people think Rob was being sassy/'throwing shade' (ugh) with that tweet??? if anything, he was complimenting Pure Heroine and saying 'that was addictive, but West Coast is more so'. It's also a play on Heroine/Heroin and addictions, so I literally don't understand why people think he was insulting Lorde with that

    I love how they both complimented each other's music (Marina on Twitter, Lana in an interview). It's nice to see female artists, especially ones in a similar genre, co-operating instead of creating conflict.

     

     

     

    Yeah, their personalities and music style really don't fit. Marina is such a quirky tumblr queen (ew)* and her music is more ironic/happy-go-lucky in general.

    Lana is... different.

     

    *I know she's a good artist and fine person, but I just can't stand her

    if it leaks like a few days/a week before the release, I'm not too bothered because it's unlikely to dramatically hurt her sales. if it's over a month before (eg. it leaks sometime this week) then I will be pretty pissed

     

    still, I will download it illegally when/if it leaks, but I'm definitely gonna buy it on CD when it is eventually released :illumarina:

    It's on US Amazon for $10USD and on UK Amazon for £12.89. It's kind of hard to find though, you have to go from NTMT, to BSides1 to the limited edition version (that's how I found it). It has a 2 disc version of NTMT with Ghost as the second disc.

    -2 x US Standard Edition of NTMT (I got it shipped from the USA to here in the UK)

    -2 x B-Sides Part 1

    -NTMT Poster (haven't hung it up yet)

     

    I would KILL for a copy of Ghost! Or at least the 'limited edition' version of NTMT that had the tracks on it.

    we've been looking at it all wrong...K = her family's Kia. her entire discography is dedicated to the lost car

    It's such a beautiful cover, I think it excels all of her previous ones AHHHHH SO EXCITED

     

    The only thing that doesn't make sense is that "LANA DEL REY" is missing.

    If a non-fan walks up to it and sees it and likes it, they'll think "Hmm, this looks interesting. But who is this chick? Is she "Ultraviolence" or is that the name of the album" and then they'll put it down because they don't understand it.

    I really really really doubt that anyone would think that. They would turn it round to see the songs on the back or at least Google ultraviolence. It's very unlikely that you'd just put an album down just because the artist's name isn't on it.

    IF that cover is real, I would be super happy. It looks so natural and stripped back, which is what she said the album would be. However, it doesn't really fit the title of Ultraviolence...

     

    and wtf is going on with her hands in that photo? where is her right hand?

    Honestly probably "Peppermint". I also really love "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards". I haven't listened to any of the live tracks, so some of those could become faves too in the future.

    Same, I haven't listen to the live ones because I want to wait to hear the studio versions first. I just WISH FLWOGB would be on the album, it's just so utterly flawless

    Ooooooh I really can't pick favourites! But I absolutely adore Beloved, Better in the Dark, Fool of Me, Peppermint and their cover of Feels Like We Only Go Backwards. How about you?

    Lana has the potential to be ultraclever with some of the titles of the songs (FMWUTTT)...I hope that she is. Sad Girl sounds like it's the verge of being a song like Without You (if you leave me I will be a sad girl) or Carmen (she is a sad girl). I hope for the latter.
