this website has been hell since the scat attack something shifted

i will always enjoy what lana releases, i enjoy that she still engages with us by releasing music and will always support her that being said, however, i see no point in her releasing music with no vision, direction or inspiration. we all fell in love with her for her thoughtful lyrics, beautiful voice or her well engineered songs. take away the inspired lyrics, give it stripped back piano production and just have her talking into the microphone, i might as well just listen to violets and not a new release... i love blue banisters but it was clear she needed to take a considerable amount of time away afterwards to get some form of inspiration, because she's surrounded herself with yes people for years with her music taking a hit as a result. i do want her to be happy though, and if i have to accept that we wont be getting another shift in music like we used to then so be it like someone said above she used to take RISKS like her sophomore album after an incredibly successful debut was a complete 180, and it paid off. lana needs another dan imo

i would sell my sack for just ONE studio session with lana and dan, even if they dont produce anything, it will give lana SOME direction that man is a genius

it's crazy to me how fresh this album still sounds to me the first 3 singles alone are enough to cement this as my third favourite from her (after ultraviolence and honeymoon) GREEEEN AND GREYYY AH AHH AH
