she definitely let him influence l+f WAY too much and he is probably the reason the album is what it is (and why her sound has shifted so much). it’s a shame because her pre-lf outputs were so much more creative. we saw her regress back to her roots with ADIAML so im hoping the new album goes even further

i agree. it’s a really fun song and i really don’t know why i hated on it for so long. it is probably because (and this is SO fvcking niche) i used to work in a theme park in the UK on a ride called 'bubbleworks' and the soundtrack to that song sounds so much like the gold beat so i was scarred from the amount of hours i spent in that ride station re. butterflies butterfly butterfart whatever she is called i will reserve judgement until the song is released but it sounds fine so far. nothing special but nothing groundbreaking

the lashings my god i could not believe (except i could believe and i do ) agree with the sentiments of most people tbh. she has become so disingenuous and i struggle to gel with anything post l+f. it’s such a shame because froot is one of my top 3 favourite albums of all time and she used to be such an interesting artist. merna what happened (l.a. happened) a writer who writes very cringeworthy 'poetry' with a focus on being aesthetic rather than writing emotional or worthwhile outputs. see: milk & honey. basically, now used as a general term for disingenuous poetry that is purely for monetary gain as opposed to trying to evoke thoughts and feelings out of the reader

i mean she is a blatant copy and paste of lana but thats a compliment to lana that people want to copy her i like her music. it does make me laugh at points due to how much of a caricature of lanas music she is, but she has fun songs and i sing along when they come on
