Some of that dialogue on that account seems so cliche. "We've been expecting you" and "you must go now", it's like imagining what it would be like. Plus didn't someone from Lana's team say that the snake wasn't actually in the film but was just used for promo pictures?

Why would Shaun even know? Like the casting director, his role in the project has been fulfilled and ended. I'd trust the post-production team over him as unless he's DM'ing Lana on the daily, I don't think he's a great source, especially since he's probably loving all of the attention from the thirsty Lana fanbase.

I think there's a little attitude because in the digital age, when you have songs on air on sale, everything is so instant, that for pop music fans who are so used to an immediate consumption have to wait for so long with no news, they begin to get impatient. She announced Tropico but hasn't followed it up with anything. Her tweets "at the cementary, etc." sort of suggest it was coming soon and she would be giving us a date. But we have no date. Plus with her recent chart success with Summertime Sadness, she may as well strike with the iron is red hot so to speak. I completely understand them taking the time to get it right and everything, I'm sure the team behind it want it to be as good as it can be, but we've just had no news except a couple of posters. She needs to just sedate us with another tweet as it's gone deathly quiet. Plus if she had waited a little longer to announce it she could have had a much better, professional-looking poster than the basic "Naomi Shon spending five minutes in paint" one we got.

I'm getting to the point where she's announced it so early that I'm starting to not care whether Tropico comes out at all.

It was initially posted by someone who worked at Interscope (who then deleted it) but it looks like someone saved it and posted it. So we have a new location - a house! I wonder how that works into the narrative.

Come on, it says he has no money and is living with (and probably taking care of) his elderly mother, that's a sad thing to happen to anyone regardless of whether people like him or not. He probably got paid for this story and they're going to turn into more of a drama. The music industry is cruel, plenty of people end up poor and bitter when their careers don't work out, "So Legit" reeks of similar entitled bitterness. The only thing with this article is that Lana seems awkwardly worked in.

I want her to attend mainly so she can walk the red carpet and discuss Tropico and when it's coming out. No other reason.

Didn't she talk of the Garden of Eden theme before? She did an interview where she had a treatment in her head she wanted to do, it was pre-Ride. I thought the 'cave' scene where she rides her (dad?) at the end of the Ride video was that theme but it's more of a Lolita reference. So she's had this Tropico concept in her head for a long time.
