    If this was cash grab they would’ve done it way sooner and probs would’ve done a volume 1, volume 2, volume 3, etc. considering the amount of unreleased music she has. This was obvs done with care by people that were close to her, finalised by people that were already involved with the music.

    I’ve always wanted a Zelda game with her as the playable character but I kinda hate that they’re doing it in this art style with her femininity hidden under a cloak like they’re not fully committing to having her as the lead character and still want to appeal to a wider audience that don’t want to notice that they’re playing as a female character. Maybe I’m reading too much into it and I’m sounding like Jameela Jamil but idk I wish we could have a Zelda fronted game where she’s fab and not a little cartoony covered up lego

    I’m not feeling the “there are multiple versions of Girl, so confusing with multiple female artists” theory. That would kinda make the Lorde version less special and run the whole concept of it into the ground. A big part of what makes this so monumental is because it’s Lorde, and the layers behind that. If she did this with Rina or whoever it would be such a non-event. I still see people throwing Marina’s name around (give it up) but their whole beef was never that deep and there’s really no depth to their dynamic. Their beef literally started and ended with Marina sending her fans after her for doing a similar photoshoot as her almost a decade ago, and present day they’re not friends. There’s really nothing more to it. It would not match the concept of the song.

    It sounds like Meghan Trainor attempting to make a Marina song with Kim Petras’ production team with Ava Max on the moodboard, and I mean all that negatively.

    That longer snippet sounds so cliche and melodically clunky and poorly written. I’ve already accepted years ago that Katy Perry isn’t what she used to be, and this confirms that it’s not because she stopped working with Dr Luke.

    Ending the deluxe album with a song about the grammies snubbing her is so meta and kinda perfect considering the mass critical acclaim this album has gotten. I was hoping she would keep 365 as the closer but having the party girl cycle continue after it with it going into a sad track that starts with “I don’t know what’s going on most of the time I’m out my mind”, and then going right into a song about getting ate out, and also ending that song with a fourth wall break directly addressing the listeners about wanting to guess the password to her google drive, and it then going into a previously teased song people have been wanting to get their hands on,,, and that song ending the album by basically being commentary about what might happen with the album while also being a part of the album but also outside of the standard album,, It all feels very intentional Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not AOTY

    They remastered Rainbow for the 25th anniversary and it sounds so much better now :oprah: 
    they got rid of the little whistle moment at the start of heartbreaker tho, kinda hate that

    I mean obvs she could never compete with Taylor's first week(s) sales but the number 1 spot on the UK album charts is literally between Charli and Taylor rn with Charli being in the lead :toofunny:
