  1. The guy that smeared shit on the Brat wall is the same guy that was accusing Charli of copying him for the 1999 cover in 2018 wait this is kinda sending me this was a planned attack :air2:

  2. The more I listen to this album the more I love it tbh. This Def would’ve been received better if it wasn’t for the inaccurate descriptions they gave. It’s a very solid summer album, but it’s not really anything more than that. And I really don’t need it to be more than that. I love a short clean polished pop album. It’s doing the same for me as Troye’s new album, which I replayed a Lot.

  3. 7 tracks in rn and this is not giving psychedelic / massive attack / uk rave at All, like in the slightest :toofunny:

I really like what I'm hearing so far though, a clean polished pop album with Danny & Kevin Parker's touch jDaG2qj.jpg

Hate to be a bitch but like i don't think its any of our business about what relationship charli and lorde have, just saying.

I’d agree if she wasn’t literally talking about it on a song on her album lmao

Just read some of the recent pages here,

It's obviously not a "diss" towards Lorde. Y'all are so insufferable sometimes and want girls to fight so bad :rip:

It’s not a diss, she literally said it’s not :toofunny: It’s about her anxiety within their friendship. Either way, it’s about Lorde. Idk how anyone can look at that 360_brat post and look at the lyrics of the song and still genuinely think it’s not

why do people still think girl is about lorde when it’s obviously about marina :sky:

i dont see why everyone is so definitive about this song being about lorde, it could be about many people

Because it's literally about Lorde :toofunny:

    • "We talk about making music, but I don't know if it's honest"
    • "People say we're alike, they say we got the same hair" --> the whole reason why so many people used to compare her to Lorde was cause they both had the big hair. To this day people make Charli = Lorde jokes, which Charli has acknowledged multiple times (recently too).
    • She said the song is about her anxiety around this person, which goes hand in hand with that 360_brat post
    • People aren't out here saying her and Marina look alike cause they got the same hair, they don't have any type of friendship for her to have anxiety over like she does with Lorde, and her and Marina have collabed already in the past so the "one day we might make some music" line wouldn't make sense.
    • That screenshot should be enough proof that it's 100% about Lorde :toofunny:

why does charli have beef with lorde, what she do

I remember her saying the song wasn't a diss but more about her anxiety around "this person" (lorde)

Is Girl, so confusing a MARINA Diss track?

It’s 100% about Lorde, basically as good as confirmed that it’s about Lorde considering she made a 360_brat post about her that basically summarised the song,, and the “we got the same hair” lyric. Idk why so many people think it’s about Marina. That never made sense to me.

  9. I'm fine with Jack being heavily involved considering the best songs on Ocean Blvd were produced by him. Drew Erickson was enemy nr1 in my eyes but he did his thing on Let The Light In so perhaps he isn't the spawn of satan. Either way I do hope some more producers she hasn't worked with before are also involved so we get a new perspective and it feels fresh.

  10. I'd say this album is better than Lover and Midnights, but def not as good as folklore, evermore, 1989 or Red. A lot of it sounds like Midnights in the way the 1989 vault tracks sound like Midnights. Obvs not the exact same, but Jack's been keeping that same production style which kinda feels worn out at this point. Not hearing her on those Midnights-y synths on the Aaron produced tracks felt refreshing. Not to beat a dead horse cause people have been saying this over and over again, but she really needs to ditch Jack for at LEAST one album. And I'm not even a Jack hater, I love a lot of his work, but his production on Taylor songs is starting to feel very same-y.

Anyways, I do like this album. I can see myself listening to it a lot. It's not her magnum opus, but that's ok.

  11. Spoiler

Listening rn. 4 songs in, so far it's giving Midnights part 2, but I do like it. The next song's an Aaron produced track so perhaps it'll pick up more from here cause it feels very same-y.
