she announced lasso and then two weeks later worked on songs with Quavo, it was pretty obvious the sound shifted. I think we’re still getting Lasso but I don’t think it’s going to be as country as she/we thought it would be

People hating on ITAATT and Girl, so confusing but both of those songs and their lyrical content are a big reason why this album's sitting at 94 on metacritic rn
