  1. The more I listen to it the more I dislike it. I like some songs but this is her worst album hands down. Rushed, unfinished, lazy samples, underwhelming production, subpar lyrics, pitch demo singers used as features, scraps used as filler, 12 songs missing on the physicals, etc. It just feels empty. An obvious cash grab acting as a follow up to an actually good album for nostalgia bait. A stain on her discography, but it seems like the past few years she’s made it her mission to tarnish her legacy. Listening to The Pinkprint after listening to this is so jarring like this really is the same artist…

i think its safe to say that most of the people here are white gays and white gays hated pink friday and roman reloaded when they were released so why are you saying this album isnt a good follow up to something that took you years to get

the delusion :deadbanana: this half-assed unfinished mixtape is nowhere near being this ahead of its time masterpiece you're painting it out to be. most of the intro track's a sped up version of when the party's over by Billie Eilish like get real for one second :lmao: this is not even close to being a good follow up to Pink Friday (one of the best albums of the 2010s)

trust there’s bigger things coming…. things u don’t even expect… a true mother alert coming soon.. it may be years but it’s big and huge and it’s coming…. to quote her, “i want ethel cain’s name shoved into every household in america” and it’s gonna happen

Do you have actual insider info or is this all based on the stuff she shared in her discord a long while ago (assuming ur talking about what I think ur talking about it was far from a guaranteed thing that was happening)

She said on Twitter when asked “how many songs can we shake our ass to” and she said she counted at least 10. So therefore the tracklist has to be more than 10 songs.

people are talking about the vinyls and CDs

Is everyone on this website like…. Incapable of using common sense?? The other week in the slayyyter forum everyone thought the deluxe was scrapped for literally no good reason. And now people are believing this album has TEN SONGS?! Jesus Christ people is this your first time using the internet?? You just believe anything put in front of you? Lord help us.

CLEARLY the album is not 10 songs.

Idk about the tracklists floating around but she had to turn in the album months ago in order for vinyl sales to count for release week and this album was obviously not finished several months ago so it would not surprise me at all if the vinyls actually do just have a way shorter unfinished version of the album lmao. She's probs still working on the streaming version as we speak. Unless she's been playing everyone all this time and had a full finished album ready for months and all the embarrassing unprofessionalism was a marketing move.

  6. Sure AKA is her "first" album but it never even got a proper release other than a digital one that got pulled after it got shelved for 2 years. BTD's def LDR1, and to me Paradise is LDR2. Lana herself said it's basically an album so that kinda settles it. It has its own sound, its own era, and it has 9 songs on it.

At the end of the day, AKA is nowhere to be see on the jacket with her discography on it (and Paradise is).

  7. Makeup and Starfucker kinda aren’t on par with the rest of the (very excellent) album. Perhaps it wouldn’t be that bad if the deluxe ends up not happening :pout:

They’re not bad but the feature on Makeup brings the song quality down TBH (and it’s kinda weird to have 1 underwhelming feature on the tracklist while the rest of the album’s fully solo) and the title track’s flow is kinda clunky. James Dean goes off though.
