This album’s kinda very disappointing to me. Life Support was Way more exciting than this. Don’t get me wrong the songs on SBS are good but listening to the album all the way through just gets boring. I was really hoping for more songs in the vein of Home To Another One (one of her best), but the only other song that really gave that was Sweet Relief. She really thrives with a more upbeat sound but it seems like she went for a more mellow sound for most of the album. I don’t mind a more mellow sound but these songs just aren’t interesting enough to me sonically to form an entire album. Was already expecting this based on the singles though.

Gonna be using this tracklist:
- Problématique
- Je T'adore
- All She Wants (feat. Paris Hilton)
- Born Again
- Something About You
- Revelations
- Confession
- Hit It From The Back
- Deeper
- Dirty Things
- Love Ya Leave Ya
- Your Time To Cry
I usually wanna stay true to official tracklists so I didn't really change the original order. Didn't know where to put Revelations at first but I like the contrast of it following Something About You (mimicing the contrast of TMLAH following it originally). HIFTB just makes sense between Confession and Deeper (and it came after Confession on the original tracklist). I just tacked on Your Time To Cry at the end without much thought tbh bshdbf

Just listened to Problématique with the new tracklist and honestly, I really like this tracklist, it flows very well. I do think HIFTB and Revelations should've been on it instead of on FTB though. HIFTB felt like such an integral part of the album and Revelations is one of the best songs from those sessions. I guess Revelations does fit the more punchy sound of FTB better than the softer sound of Probématique (even though FTB sounds like a playlist instead of an album skk). Sex Talk and Coconuts not being on it makes the album better tbh, 2 flop songs that brought down the overall quality idc idc. Weird that Future Starts Now isn't on it but I never really cared for that song either so whatever. Treat Me Like a Ho should've gotten the BOOT, kinda a stain on the tracklist (I do like the beat though definitely I thought it was fun). Your Time to Cry should've been on it instead, but I saw smthn about how that song got sold so I guess that wasn't an option. Dance to Forget and Left My Body are cute for the sessions album, they weren't really worthy of a spot on the album. Love that Love Ya Leave Ya is the closer, that song should've been on the standard tracklist from the beginning.
Anyways this post is long as fuck I think I'm just gonna delete Treat Me Like a Ho and put HIFTB, Revelations and YTTC in there and call it a day! A lovely 12 track album.

Kinda hate how HIFTB and Revelations ended up on FTB instead of being included in this Problématique release but I’m glad she’s finally putting it out

Him singing Love Her Madly after singing NFR and Summer Wine ou I wonder if he was involved in making Madly since it references that song. Seems a bit too coincidental he chose to sing that exact one.

people saying she dropped her magnum opus amidst controversy but Roisin Machine was miles better than this. it’s good though.

Solar Power’s far from an ahead of its time masterpiece. In a few years some will look back on it and think “it’s actually pretty cute!” when the disappointment of it following Melodrama has worn off, but it won’t be more than that. Perhaps the contrarians will cling to it and claim it as their underrated fav, but I think it’s very correctly rated.

The one youtuber I’ve been watching since I was like 11 that I still keep up with. She’s just so fascinating. Freaky and Superficial Bitch are classics! Also I was thinking about this the other day but Merry Trishmas is like a really good christmas song it’s so catchy and festive it deserves its tiktok moment. I still have a Merry Trishmas tshirt hanging around somewhere from when I was in middle school skk.
I know she’s problematic and a lot of the trolling she did in the past aged terribly, but it’s honestly nothing compared to what some of these celebrities that are still very successful have done/are doing (and she seems to have grown a lot). I don’t think the trans controversy was even a part of the trolling tbh, I think she was genuinely questioning her gender identity. It’s pretty obvious when she’s actually trolling (like her saying she voted for Mitt Romney cause Mitt rhymes with tit and she has 2 of them).

I don't know enough about puberty blockers to form an opinion but I do think it's insane how she's taking this stance and doubling down publicly considering her fanbase. I guess she finds giving her 2 cents on this more important than losing a big part of her fanbase and probs pride event bookings. It just seems very dumb and not worth it to me.
