I don't know why I'm disappointed by No Angel. Maybe it was all that anticipation... All those months of listening to the live version and this just sounds... I don't know. Boring? Maybe it will grow on me.

Better late than never. I have been so busy I didn't even notice it was out... No Angel sounds really lack lustre though.

Some of the remixes are absolutely fucking awful. What the hell is the BANOFEE remix? The beat doesn't match the flow of Charli's voice so it's out of sync.

You know what gets me... Somewhere on the deep, deep web - there's a forum. Or even a musical database with all of these songs. Readily available for download and we don't even know it. It's happened many times before. I actually stumbled across the camila album a couple of weeks (more like 2, but yeah) before it should have been out on a Chinese website. But that's usually messy Chinese sites like qqmusic. But it doesn't happen often. It seems they've become aware of it and are now imposing these locks on their mp3 files so you can't download unreleased content until the day of the release.

Oh no, not mine! But there's a guy who is actually paid to make memes to promote rap songs. And they get really popular and end up with loads of plays on Spotify. It's weird how memes are now inorganic. The monopoly companies now have over the Internet is just... wow. The Internet was once regarded as this as a space that kind of decolonised commercialism - it was the true zeitgeist. But the things that were happening with magazines, radio, and TV are happening online too. I am just confused as to why the label is not trying to take advantage of that with Charli. I mean if Camila's team can transform what started out as a flop into a major success, why can't Atlantic? Epic records used noise marketing to its fullest potential. like paying for the 5 star reviews of her album

You can't really, unless you're invited. The only way you could have got in is when they posted the links in this thread. That's how I got in and then followed everyone else into the newer ones that were created :skull:. There was a huge purge in the other one where they were getting rid of inactive users.
