Tbh I don't mind if she doesn't do an album again and just continues to do the mixtape format and the odd "album single!11!" thing instead of a proper album cause as long as she's able to get music out I'm pretty happy. Plus she's able to a lot more experimental stuff on the mixtapes and seems to have a lot more creative control doing them too. It works with how fast she works. I would rather get a mixtape or two every year than wait for years for album that might never come or that she'll be over when it comes out.

Anyone got an HQ download for Unlock It? I do have to say though the song is really beautiful and dreamy. I love the chopped vocal sample and Charli, Kim, and Jay all sound incredible. I liked Out My Head but I'm definitely feeling this one a lot more it's so good.

I feel a bit late talking about it since it was few pages back but I have to agree with the recent comments about Charli's vocals lately. She's really inconsistent (she did sound better than usual on Triple J minus the amount of slurring though). I took vocal lessons for 3 years. She would really benefit from them or just even practicing scales and lip trills for 15 minutes a day. She's still pretty good it's just that she could be a lot better and a lot more consistent with her delivery.

I love her use of excessive autotune when singing live it's so ridiculous and jarring it's hard for me to not be into it. I think the cover was pretty great tbh.

I’m actually feeling the song tbh! I know the reception is pretty mixed but I think it’s pretty good and probably a safer cut from the mixtape so it makes sense that they would play that one on the radio. It is pretty ALMA heavy but I don’t mind it!

I've said it before but I really prefer her more PC Music inspired work. I think she manages to make PC Music more accessible, while still keeping it quirky. I find it to be her most interesting and exciting stuff personally but I do think her True Romance stuff was incredible lyric wise. I'd love to see her do a kind of moody autotuned hip hop inspired album in the future (along the lines of Dreamer, Blame It On U, etc).
