I thought it was just being referred to as the "first global single since Boys" though? That doesn't necessarily indicate lead. But I guess.

And to address the Troye controversy– it's not that serious, but I see it in the sense that this song just needed something (based on the LQ Discord recording, at least) and I think we all know he isn't gonna bring this track to a new height. Hopefully the variety of a feature will make up for what I felt was lacking.

If Troye is on the chorus I swear...

 

2nd verse + bridge is the word over on ATRL. I don't doubt he'll be on at least one of the choruses following.
