The way all my real life friends LOVE Wildflower Wildfire but Lana Boards hate it… make it make sense

English must not be lustforlife’s first language (which is fine, obviously) because I can’t understand a word they say. Like, ever. Is it just me? Anyways, I hope she drops another single before the release.

I’m seeing all this talk about Lana being number 1 and I think we need to come back down to reality here, folks. All we have first week is streaming (which will be terrible), cd’s and standard vinyl. None of the alternate covers from her store, target, UO, etc are shipping until week 2. Lana will at most debut with like 30-40k first week and that’s not going to be enough for #1. But the good news is we will probably have a great week 2 as well!

Omg Arcadia sounds SO much better on Apple Music. I was so turned off by her off pitch vocals but they are totally fixed!

Was she meeting with Capitol today? Maybe something happened and she’s not going to have a record deal, and she’s disappointed/sad about it? And this is why she seems so sad and emphasized “probably” more records in the future? Or maybe I’m reading way too into everything. Lol

Why do we care what label she is signed to? It’s not going to affect her music, or releases, at all. It might even be a nice change.

Interscope would NEVER drop Lana Del Rey. Especially as a touring force. Only way this is her last album with Interscope is if Lana herself chooses to go indie. I really appreciate you for info, obviously you have some. But you are sooooo baiting some of these stans by wording things the way you are. And WHY does my pre-order say it’s being shipped out Oct 29?? Without physicals on first week Blue Banisters chart run is going to be 98-3-OUT Why wouldn’t they just wait a week to release everything together? Weird.

Omg I think I ordered the last Target exclusive cover in the US. Right after I ordered it changed to sold out.

My order says the vinyls aren’t shipping out until Oct 29. If this is true, the physicals won’t count for first week

I am about to listen to Arcadia omg hold me. But just to clarify… digital release Oct 22 and physicals Oct 29?!

The dragging she is going to get foe these upcoming first week sales if they don’t release with physicals… But at the end of the day, who cares. What I’ve heard about this album so far, might be her best! Stoked!

The production on WW is IMMACULATE. The gritty beats that you seem to hate were actually done on purpose (as mike has said), and add so much character to that song. I will NOT allow this WW dissing foolery in here!!!

See, I think the opposite. I think the distorted affect adds a level of depth to the song that makes it so unique and even more genius. It was clear to me on first listen that the distorted sound was intentional and it’s actually really well done. Gives the song a level of imperfection quality, while actually being perfect. Mike Dean’s mind!!

I’m literally obsessed with WW. Anybody who doesn’t like the production at the end with the crusty drums is CLUELESS!! That is masterful production and totally elevates the song and gives it that special touch. Was totally produced that way on purpose. I want more!!!

I think it’s clear that Lana intends for this release to be personal and on her own terms. Judging by the streaming numbers for these songs, we need to prepare for this to be her most uncommercial album yet! LMLYLAW debuted with like 1.6 million streams?? And these debuts with like 200k. It’s going to be low key and I’m here for it!! I personally love that Lana has let go of the commercial aspect of music and focusing on the music itself and her writing.

The only way the physicals will count towards first week sales is if they are shipped out on album release week, and from what we have been told the album isn’t even finished, so I doubt that will happen. Also, I think we have yet to see the official album cover. She wouldn’t have an album cover the same as a single cover, right? Or would she?

Guys I really think the theory that she is going to release songs in 3’s is true. I think she will release that way until the album is fully out and then release physicals. I don’t expect a “lead single”... she’s doing it her way this time, which is very unexpected - as the insiders said. Im here for it! First week sales will be awful, but we gotta come through with the streaming!

The way I am OBSESSED with Wildfire. The others haven’t hit me yet. Maybe they need a few more listens

I unfortunately don’t really love any of them. Wildflower is cute but those drums were a choice. I will always love Lana and appreciate the work she puts into her music. However, ever since COCC I haven’t really felt like I connected with any of the songs she has been making. They are just there... like they are lacking that special charm that Lana’s music used to have, at least for me. But I WILL remain optimistic about this upcoming album because I’m interested in hearing what she comes up with using new producers, although I’m not impressed with what we have so far.
