I like both interpretations too though x
The kicker is, in the live version you can see and hear more clearly that the word starts with a "P" which also negates the "Comfort Inn" theory.
Aside from asking her herself, I really wish one of the other live performance videos would surface such as the one from The National Underground, because we know it exists. That would be incredibly helpful x
what..
my interpretation has always been "you saw a light, back in the countryside" ...

first time listening to the title track just now. i read a lot of comments about how much people appreciate her using the tunnel as a metaphor for herself. but i'm like, there's no way this song isn't about anal, right?

this fanmade one just being clips from her Complex documentary having over a million views is a SIGN that this was a lost hit
the way i could listen to this song 500 times and still be amazed at how good it is

23 hours ago, sweetener said:when it comes to the topic of even thinking about what Fantasea II looks like right now, what songs do we think are going to make it? Some of these songs are so old now that it honestly doesn't matter what year (or decade) they were recorded in.
I feel like she'll find a way to include Count Contessa and Escapades on it no matter what.
I definitely need these songs to see a release though.
Most likely:
Count Contessa
Escapades
Fuck Him All Night
Possibly:
Anna Wintour
Treasure Island
Paradiso II
In Excelsis
Not:
Playhouse (rest in peace)
Along the Coast (already released like)
Movin on Up
Taste's State
Ain't Know
Venus
Movin' on up is Azealia's best song and the world continues to sleep on it

it's 2022 and i've still yet to find myself judging her for anything she says or does because a). I don't see it as a reasonable pursuit and b). I care more about understanding her but you do you, to those that do
more to the point whenever I see something she's saying out of her own mouth I feel it's perfectly understandable. She's on a wavelength not too many are in my opinion. This doesn't mean I agree with her opinions either, though, that should go without saying
I get people are inclined to share their thoughts/feelings on the internet but I think there are a lot of things, I don't particularly hold the space to speak on, that play into why people feel entitled or "backed-up" specifically in their judging of Azealia and it's gross to me. And it should be to most under the pretence they stand by what they claim to. -

didn't know we already have a 6 minute version pretty neat
just checked! this version is new! it's an artRAVE version, but mixed differently, without the electric guitars. it actually has better audio quality than the previous artRAVE leak
a demo with kendrick lamar also leaked. so altogether there are 5 versions out there

The single EP for at your best is worth giving a spin. Includes 6 different versions which are all in their own right 5 star tracks / beautiful music

I probably listened to this album the least out of all of her releases for no reason other than age and a general change in music tastes, but, my favourite and most replayed tracks stay as: Sweet, Fingertips (uncensored version) and Grandfather xx
Admittedly had the Taco Bell song on repeat when it first came out bcz i, too, met my boyfriend by the taco bell
