  1. The entrances are in an open area so we didn't have to go through a gate of any kind to wait outside of the venue. There were general parking garages around us as well as a free parking area since it was right across the street from the venue. I think the key here is to get familiar with the area of the venue. The rules are you can't park in the designated parking area for the venue until it opens hours before the show but there shouldn't be a rule about lining up early. Does this help?
  2. You assumed a lot in your response. No one ever said I expected a date out of thin air or by snapping ones fingers. I am not an unrealistic person with unrealistic expectations. I have been going to concerts since 1984 - I understand logistics. I don't need a smart ass giving me their version of it. I was just wondering since we hadn't heard about a new date yet after 2 and a half weeks, I was just worried it might be easier for them to cancel than reschedule.
  3. Glad it helped! Have a great time @@nickloveslana!
  4. @@Kitten OH YES! The depression will kick in. I saw the Houston show front row and it was incredible. Had Silver for Dallas but we all know what happened there so I am just waiting for the new date for that show.
  5. @@Kitten This will be an interesting night. Can't wait to hear all about it. Have fun!!!! It is one of the best experiences ever!
  6. Ha ha ha! I guess you haven't opened your merch. That piece of construction paper is a poster. LOL! Honestly, the merch wasn't too exciting. I only got Silver VIP for early entry.
  7. I assure you that there will be a large group of people who figure out how to camp out. I assure you. Lana's fans are relentless.
  8. Good question. You don't have to literally hold on to the rail of the barracade. You can just stand hands free but holding on is more comfortable. When she comes down to the front, you can lean your body against the barracade (its very sturdy) and you can reach out to her. Its actually quite easy. As far as the merchandise, one show I went to, they didnt let us put our stuff in our cars so most of put the bag around our neck, others held it. It wasnt bad. The other show I went to - they gave us time to take our merch back to the car and get back in line by our number. You'll be fine. Get there early!!!!!
  9. I hear you. I am actually happy that you did it alone. I mean, in my opinion, your wife was not correct in this situation. You bought these tickets in December. With early entry, who would not line up so early in the morning. She needs to be more understanding in my opinion. I am all for "happy wife, happy life" but it needs to be logical. This was something you really wanted to do and if it were me, nothing will stop me. I am very thoughtful and understand of my significant other. I would never stand in the way of what they really wanted to do and my expectation is the to receive the same in return. All in all, it sounds like it worked out for the best. Once you have had that Lana experience, nothing can take it away. Happy you did it and went all the way @!
  10. @ Glad to hear it went well. Sometimes, the pit can feel like a war zone. Glad you were prepared.
  11. Didn't see just meet fans after the show in Colorado? I swear I saw people posting pics of and with her before and after the show. The show where she is wearing white.
  12. @ So glad you had a great time. The whole waiting in line for front row center is not for the weak that is for sure. I have done it four times for Lana and I would do it again but when I do it, I hate it. It's painful and I, too am of an older age so I feel your pain. Still, she is worth it for me. Again, so glad everything worked out for you.
  13. Glad you found it helpful. If you don't plan to leave the line, only take things you can get rid of.
  14. I see your point. The pits are relatively small. Silver will guarantee first and second row for sure depending on your place in line. I guess it depends on the size of the pit too. Remember most others have seats. You definitely want to be there early to be as close as possible but honestly, Silver is the only way to guarantee a spot in the front for a chance to interact with her. And if you have to be there EARLY to do it.
  15. Some got there the night before for regular entry not knowing about the early entry for VIP. To me, its pointless to be there so early if you don't have Silver.
  16. SO...here is the low down on the pit for this tour. This one is unique because the Silver package allows for early entry so it changes the game a bit. People have been camping overnight. Some getting there at 9 or 10 pm. By morning, there are anywhere from 20 to 40 people in line depending on the location. This is important because if your goal is front row for a chance to have something signed or an opportunity to have a photo taken with her, then the earlier the better. The shows I went to, the fans created a number system for the early arrivals. Meaning the first person to arrive is #1 and then everyone else as they show up are the following numbers. Your number is written on your hand when you arrive. Although this is not done officially with Live Nation or the venue, this allows to minimize the chaos that could happen if you don't. Being numbered allows you to leave your spot to grab a bite, use the restroom, or wash up and then be able to jump back in line where you were. For the most part, everyone adheres to this out of mutual respect and because some people wait in line for over 20 hours. It's impossible not to leave out of necessity. I did it alone and it was hard to do it alone. Although everyone was friendly, it would be nice to do it in pairs or a group that one way one person could leave and the group can hold down the fort so to speak. Live Nation will not set up their table until 4pm or so. Those times that they emailed you is simply a guide. I can bet money all of those times will be pushed back much further. Live Nation is super organized in the process but those times are not realistic. Most venues are different but they should allow to wait and camp out for this. You can bring a ice chest to carry your food and water in. I highly recommend this. You will want to be nourished and hydrated to last the whole day and the show itself. I do not recommend parking one mile away from the venue. I just don't think you will want to walk that mile after the show and waiting in line all day long but that will be your call. If you park at the venue, this gives you a chance to go to your car and sit for a while to cool off during the day. You can also take your ice chest back to your car at the end of the day. If you park a mile away, bring a foam ice chest that you can dispose of at the venue before entry. I would also being a sturdy lawn chair as well. You don't want to sit on the concrete floor all day long. Once Live Nation sets up their table, they will let Gold packages go in first because part of their package is a party with food and early entry for crowd free merch shopping. Then, they check in the Silver packages and they number you - should match the number you had earlier if everyone keeps their place in line. Then, you wait a bit and the VIP Nation host [who is amazing by the way] will walk the Silver packages to the pit in a single file. This eliminates running and pushing. This works like a charm! Once you are in the pit, you can choose your spot. Enjoy the show @ !
  17. Awesome news! There is nothing like being front row and getting her attention. So glad you had a great time. Enjoy the show in CA.
  18. @@graham4anything Best post ever. You made some great points. I will say that I take photos at all of the shows I go to but I love photography too. So I try hard to balance the art if taking good photos and being in the moment to enjoy the show. Again, great post!!!
  19. @@letsescapelizzy @@May @@VioletPrincess You guys...the hype and excitemennt isn't over. Last year, Lana was playing venues that held anywhere from 5,000 to 8,000 people. On this tour, it's anywhere from 18,000 to 20,000 people with almost sold out nights. There is a demand for her more than ever. Not everyone is going to post about every little thing. Plus, some people like to enjoy the show and post later. Give it time - we will see something soon.
  20. @@frankestrella So, how was the show? Hope Live Nation/Ticketmaster resolved your package issue and that you had a great time. Can't wait to hear about the show.
  21. @@AngelHeadedHipster When I get home, I will try to post pics of it but I won't be able to scan it.
  22. @@JuliusDelRey Honestly, I would take another route. I would either take the bus or catch a cab. It will cost more but at least your spot will be secure in line. Judging from the text, I think they meant the parking lot won't be open for you but I don't think it meant you can't line up.
