  1. I got AIW tickets for the Dallas show and New Orleans show and was able to pick up my tickets at any time with no issues.
  2. Thanks for posting! It's beautiful! They were selling autographed lyric books at the shows for $125.
  3. BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing! I tried to share pics from the Dallas and Nola shows and it told me the file was too big. Then I resized it and it was still too big. How did you get yours to upload? It looks like a pretty good size too.
  4. I saw her in Dallas and New Orleans and they sold the lyric book which was autographed. I bought my merch after the show to guarantee my spot in the front row. The lines were crazy long but worth it.
  5. Have fun! You won't be disappointed! It is so fantastic to see Lana in the U.S. after a long tour in other countries. I saw her in NYC in June 2012 and she has really gotten so much more comfortable on stage. Amazing show! HAVE FUN!!!!! I saw the venue you guys are going to...it is so small which is perfect!!!
  6. I assure you that people who are lined up at 9am will keep "obnoxious bitches" at bay. I have seen three shows already and been in the front row for each of them. Not because I got there an hour before doors opened but because I got up and waited in line. Had about 8 to 10 people try to bust their way in front of and around me and each time they failed. Sorry about your finals but be prepared to encounter people ready to box for their spot in the front if they waited out all day. It happens.
  7. I just looked it up - its pretty small. No matter what happens, you will have a great time!
  8. 2,000? That is not very big at all. Your chances are good. What venue is this?
  9. 6pm? I hate to say it but I don't think you will be anywhere near the front. Maybe the middle further back. Not trying to be negative but I have been to two shows already and some people got there at 1am in the morning and spent the night. I got there at 8am one day and 9am the other day and got front row but it is brutal. People pushing and making their way to the front - it was crazy.
  10. I hear you - I could have watched and listened to her for hours and hours. I really get it - as a fan, we always want more. For me, I am grateful for what she gave us.
  11. Cool. That is good to know. There are really only 16 songs since Ride Intro wouldn't count but I get where you are coming from. This is my third time going to one of her shows. I have been going to concerts since 1984 (yes, I am old - Ha ha!). A $40 ticket is CHEAP for an hour long show. I understand your point but in all fairness, she only has one proper album. If you count the Paradise EP, it's a total of 23 songs. For her first US tour, I think it is pretty spectacular. Once Ultraviolence is released and she tours that, I might expect a longer show. Thanks for sharing the setlist. I appreciate that!
  12. If you got tickets from presale or regular sale, they should not have been more than $50 to $60. If you went through StubHub or some other agency, they were charging hundreds of dollars for tickets. I hate StubHub for that reason. That is why the shows sold out so fast - StubHub and other brokers bought out all the tickets to resell them for a much higher price. That is not Lana's doing - she has nothing to do with that. These companies make a killing of those tickets. I paid $50 (that's with the fees) for each ticket.
  13. I don't think so. The tour was from April to November and she did 13 songs at each show...give or take. Burning Desire, Million Dollar Man, and Blue Velvet were only played on certain dates and replaced a song on the original set list. I never read where she added songs making it greater than 13 or 14 songs. I didn't go to any of those shows but I followed that tour and I didn't read any fan reports of an 18 song set list. As far as the stage, yes, it changed. Honestly, the new stage is fine for me. It's only a background as the reason we are there is Lana - not the stage. But I get your point. I don't think any of it is half-assed. Even though it is just an hour, she gives it her all. She made her way off the stage 3 times at both shows I went to. She is the kindest artist to her fans and greeted, kissed, and hugged almost everyone in the front row. I respect your opinion - for me, it was the complete opposite though. By the way, which show did you go to?
  14. Be familiar with the venue, do your research, and be prepared.
  15. Especially because of your height, get there EARLY! Being in the second row or further is not worth it because you won't see over the people in front of you. I am 6'3" and I felt bad for the people behind me but I got to the front the right way by getting there early. I apologized to the people behind me but I was not moving for anyone!!!
  16. It was the best experience and brought me to tears. You HAVE to do it! Its brutal in the pit but all worth it.
  17. I reached my hand out, she grabbed it, I thanked her for her music and told her it heals me. I showed her my tattoo of one of her lyrics and she said "You are too sweet to me." I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek, we came out from the hug and then she kissed my cheek and she signed my poster. Tried to attach photos but the photos are too large. I will shrink them and post them.
  18. I went to the Dallas show at 8:45am and was 20th in line. Got me front row. I went to the New orleans show at 9am and was 1st in line and got front row.
  19. Why should she do different songs? This is her first real U.S. tour. This is the first time some American fans get to hear these songs live except for a few shows here and there in 2012. Runrocketboy - which show did you see? The one in New Orleans or a different one?
  20. The setlist was exactly the same except for the cover of "Knocking on Heven's Door" and interchanging a couple of songs. She did 13 songs on both tours. There was a set. There were trees, candelabras that were lit, a wicker chair, drapery, flowers, etc. - it set the tone. Did people expect a two hour show with 12 backup dancers, strob lights, and fire?? I don't think we were at the same show.

Rafael, I do think you are a genius! Great eye and I think you are right. Still can't find out if he is Cuban or not.
  22. Another thing is that she is only has one proper album. Yes, there is all the Lizzy Grant stuff. Yes, there is all the unreleased stuff. But she won't do either of those. There are 15 songs total on the first album BTD, 9 songs on Paradise. Those are her proper releases. We got 13 songs including the new single and Young & Beautiful from a soundtrack. There was a good mix of BTD and Paradise. I am not one of those fans that defends every single thing an artist does but this is her first real U.S. tour with only an album and a half released with ticket prices as low as less than $50 - I think an hour and 15 minutes was sufficient. Did I want more? I could listen to her sing all day long if I could!!!! Plus, she came down from the stage to greet fans 2 [or was it 3] separate times and did it for a long time. She was generous and kind to everyone on top of putting on a fucking great show. I saw her in NYC in June 2012 and it was about the same length of show but she was so nervous. I think she has built a lot of confidence up and created more of a persona on stage. I just think fans should be more appreciative of an artist on their very first real US tour - especially when tickets were so cheap to see her.
  23. She sang the same amount of songs as the other shows on this tour. Tickets were barely $50 - not sure what people expected.
  24. If you plan on being in the front row of the pit, wear comfortable shoes because you will be standing all day and you will get stepped on 100 times. I have aeen too many girls in heels in the pit - what are people thinking? Don't wear a pound of make-up - it gets really hot in the pit. Wear comfortable clothes - if you are lucky enough to be in the front row, you will get shoved into the gate and into other people constantly. The front row is where Lana goes down several tims during the show to greet, hug, kiss, and talk to fans and to autograph items. That's the reason you will be pushed so much. If you don't care about being the front, wear whatever you want. By the way, everyone ia talking about how over flower crowns are (and maybe they are) but I have been to two shows already and the girls in the front row who had crowns, gave them to Lana and she put them on and wore them. Just an idea!

Queens of cyclones? I guess I know and how to be and make it feel I'm a child? Pretty sure that's wrong too!
