    But it is a music album! There’s instrumental production in every track (therefore it’s not just an audiobook) and it also had a single available in every streaming services! Just because it’s a spoken word album doesn’t mean it isn’t a music album

    Building the hotel itself was already planned but they just announced that the tunnel will also be a part of the project

     

    “Richardson announced that the famed Jergins Tunnel that used to connect Downtown to the Pike would be repurposed as part of the Hard Rock project. He said it’s expected to be a speakeasy with music that “ties into our local vibe.”

     

    The tunnel has been closed to the public since 1967 but gained renewed attention last year after pop star Lana Del Rey referenced it in her single: “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” from her 2022 album of the same name.”

    So… this year she was openly involved in the process of submitting herself for the nominations and she even did some kind of personal campaign (singing online for the academy)

     

    hate to be that person but it seems like signing that letter was a calculated move to please the academy (as they openly support israel) and it seems like its worked 

     

    if she wins it will for sure be a bittersweet moment for me

    I’ve never been a Sam Smith fan but I gotta admit they were never hated as much from both straights and queers until they started openly and visually embrace their queerness and body

     

    if they announced a collab with Charli a few years back when they were a skinny straight-passing gay there wouldn’t be as much criticism of him as today that’s for sure

If they have people waiting in line and holding their spot and they're not just leaving as groups and coming back, what's the issue? Should they also not use the restroom or grab food since they're leaving the line? They showed up early enough, they have friends nice enough to hold their place, it's their spot in line and they can come and go as they please. 

    yeah and usually even when you're alone you can always ask other group or other person queueing alone to hold your spot for a few hours and do the same when they're also in need to go somewhere else

    if there’s going to be a number system it should be done by the venue. Not some random fan. 

    number systems being done by the venue aren't common at all (i've actually atended dozens of shows and numbers were always done by the first ones in the queue), it's a rarity and if there isn't one it doesn't mean there shouldn't be a number system at all

     

    and if you think a basic human need is cheating then i think you're the unhinged one

    im over all of this you guys. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m just so done. I’m never doing this again not even Lana is worth the stress it takes to fight these crazy people for a decent spot. 

    why do you think this is stupid? do you actually want people to suffer and wait all night and all day and not even have a chance to take a shower in their hotel, go eat a warm meal or even sleep few hours not on a sidewalk? and be miserable at the concert or even literally pass out? this is literally how queueing works in europe and this is absolutely normal... and without giving out numbers there would be absolute mess and people claiming they were in the front of other people and fighting
