It's kinda weird seeing Lana fans complain over Taylor and her team releasing many versions of her albums as if Lana and her team hasn't done the same thing (especially in COTCC era) and the fans going as crazy for this as Swifties do :oic2:

i think marketing makes a huge difference here, lana isn't really involved and even said she doesn't care if her fans buy her shit, meanwhile taylor make huge countdowns, names everything limited and exclusive (which often turns out to be a bait) and tricks fans into buying her shit basically not knowing how it really looks (e.g. 1989 cds); the list really can go on and on

I feel like some people like Swifties (and sometimes Lana fans) take buying merch too seriously, no one really forces you to do that :awkney:

you clearly don't get psychological aspect of this, "not forcing" doesn't mean there's not still some kind of manipulation going on, especially if there are kids/very young ppl involved that are getting influenced very easily by their idol and that social group/fanbase they're in

Just noticed Obsessed is on the EP on Spotify (not on Apple Music though)

I think it’s because Spotify automatically adds other singles to the releases to boost streams

I need help stanning her. Why are we losing our minds over 2016/2017 tropical pop music that Selena Gomez used to make?

Selena’s 2017 singles are her magnum opus to this day and she never finished the album that year so if Addison is here to finish what she started but with actual talent I’m not mad…

Please stop speaking a Sam Smith collab into existence 🤢

if it does become a reality, we know she said this album has no features so hopefully it isn’t related

She said she’s releasing a collab this year, I assume it’s from the new album

  7. Actually this is so funny if speed drive is on her next album (it probably is) cause it just keeps proving only the songs she dgaf about end up being her biggest hits 😭😭😭

i'm not surprised tho. it seems like mean girl shit. she gets fat shamed and then she starts fat shaming. also the banana/pussy thing is... weird. :deadbanana:

i also think her statement is a bit weird too. she claims she doesn't want to be a victim in this situation, i don't think anyone is calling her a victim tho so idk what she's on about but she then says "thank you for your support during this hard time" LMAOOOOO so manipulative

i honestly think her statement is not for the public and just a careful choice of words that later can be used in her trial

  9. I’d literally prefer watch Venice bitch “video” over candy necklace I’m sorry 😭

I loved the mv but it’s not a rewatchable thing to me

I saw it once and thought it was cool and never got the desire to watch it again

I think the behind the scenes footage, while being part of the story, made it feel a bit unsatisfying. The video was trying too hard to be great and brilliant, those things should speak for themselves and not be forced to the audience

not sure if that makes any sense :flop:

The concept would eat so much harder if it was a regular mv with a that “bts” reveal at the end

I think she has said way too much in the past 4 albums. It's time for her to give her songwriting a rest and invest in instrumentation. I really loved the JB Interlude. It sounds similar to progressive rock. It'd be a great if she explores that genre. I'm imagining how "fingertips" would sound like if it was produced like "Echoes" by Pink Floyd.

oh im sure shes never letting the songwriting rest, she loves being a poet probably even more than being a musician
