Created this post to talk about beat generation books, writers and etc.
Actually i'm reading On The Road and i'm loving it. I have plans on reading Owl from Allen Ginsberg and other Kerouac books. After reading OTR (it's the first beat book i'm ever reading) I will watch the film.
What books you guys recomend, why do you like the beat generation? Let's talk about it .
 
Did someone saw Kill Your Darlings? What you guys think about it? I saw it a few weeks ago and it was because of it I started reading On The Road, I was fascinated with Kerouac and Ginsberg world and I felt the need to read their books. They seemed, I don't know, so real. They kinda made a revolution at that time and I found it amazing.

Unfortunately they didn't released books (excpet for the lyric ones) for the subsequent tours.

Hey guys, I'm new on Lanaboards and want to share this with all you guys: what you think about a fragrance?
Many artists have fragances, this includes Madonna (her and Lana are my divas), Britney, Shakira, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc.
I was thinking about it and I think the name could be ''Paradise'', ''Desire'' or something like that.
Sorry if i have a bad english, I speak english but no fluently.
Brazil loves Lana and we want her to bring the Paradise Tour to Latin America.

This last week I watched the Twilight Saga films all over again, as it's been a few years since I last saw them after Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 were officially released in theaters, and OMG I still love this to the core.
 
I know they're not in any Harry Potter standards and a lot of people still don't like it, but I grew up watching these films, I watched every one of them in the theater with my mom, so they're kinda special for me and bring a lot of good memories from when I was 12-13yo.
I remember I had a secret crush on Edward, tho I still hadn't noticed I'm gay and thought I was bi at that time hahaha.
 
Also, who didn't cried during the final battle in BD Pt. 2?
When Aro shows THAT head the entire cinema was like OMFG WHAT HE DID? And after that the end credits with Cristina Perri's A Thousand Years, everyone was in tears.
 
I must say I can't wait to read Midnight Sun and see how was Twilight's story by Edward's point of view, it will be quite interesting.

Does someone have this and the Paradise Tour book for sale?

I know some people here are really angry with me and I've said things, without thinking, that made they get really upset. But this doesn't make me, in any instance, a bad person. I'm really sorry if someone got offended by anything I said earlier, I didn't wanted nor tried to offend anyone. I love this forum and I love talking to the people in here. And as much as I love this, I also love to learn and i'm open to learn more about those issues and get out of the bubble I've been living for my entire life.

I would have advised against posting anything as Lana can't seem to tie her shoelaces before she walks. It was unfortunate that the tangled web she weaved for herself happened just before George Floyd's murder. In reality Lana's psycho drama pales in relation to what happened to Mr. Floyd.  She may take some heat or some love now on social media but the media in general will not pick up on it because it is not that important. THE TRUTH IS CNN, THE NEW YORK TIMES, THE WASHINGTON POST, FOX NEWS 60 MINUTES ETC. ARE NOT BEATING A PATH TO LANA DEL REY'S DOOR TO GET HER OPINION ON THIS!!!!!! The idea that her posting or not is somehow important in the grand scheme of things is absurd. She is another high profile person who has a louder voice than we do but her making a post is not going to raise the consciousness of the culture. I will still buy her records and see her in concert. My opinion and I am not here to argue.
