Cherry is nowhere near being close to the notion the lyrics on UV or BTD had. The " I fall to pieces" almost feels reductive in a way. She has obviously changed with HM. Step by step, she is leaving the destructive self behind. If you understand anything about Lana Del Rey as an artist, you should have noticed that BTD was an euphoric look back at a doomed relationship. She celebrated the love that was not good for her. On UV she has portrayed the man that was in her life entirely different than on BTD. He was violent, old, quite pathetic. And she closed the album with TOW realising that she will stay alone if she choses to be the other woman. She actually reflected on what was bad for her and now she is happy, maybe because she was able to sing that. Now Lana Del Rey wants kids and a family. A quick look at the lyrics of HBTB already tells you that she has changed gradually. And on LFL she clearly has a different story to tell. Maybe Cherry is the only tiny bone she will throw at the damaged part of her audience.

love being a fan of hers, it is always a rollercoaster ride. however, i truly think she deserves other stans, so hopefully some will finally leave after this era. and i am all guilty for criticizing her, however, however, however, the behaviour so many have shown here being so obnoxiously loud, impatient, dramatic is not just lowkey borderline damaged.

Despite the fact that we as fans all want the new album, I think after the recent events at the Ariana concert, it would be very inappropriate to release an album called Lust For Life just days after a tragedy where young ppl were harmed going to a concert of a popstar. I think we should not worry about the release date if we put this into perspective.

I think this video is dynamic enough. Dancing in the beginning, climbing up to the top of the Hollywood sign, running on the sign, the red dress or whatever that is, when she holds Abel while standing behind him. ENough energy for a slow song like LFL.

OMG. MTWBT is literally one of her worst videos, if not her worst. It was just horribly done and she didn't look nowhere near amazing in this one. I know, tastes differ and all, but that is just wrong.
