Okay, so Text Book 100% sounds more polished now to me.

Okay, so I do think I hear the differences on Arcadia? The violin does seem slightly more prominent and it sounds like her vocals are more polished? Let's be clear though, the changes are so subtle. Like would I have ever noticed these differences had I not been looking for them? Probably not honestly??? Going to do Text Book next.

I'm redownloading the songs from iTunes to see if they were updated there too (for those that don't use streaming lol). Will update. No guarantees I'll notice any differences anyway though

This post reminded me how with my signed copy of LFL instead of just having her sign the actual vinyl jacket they had her sign an empty vinyl jacket and sent that with the actual album so now I have a random ass empty vinyl jacket with no purpose

Lana fans are so annoying sometimes. Artists reuse and repurpose old songs all the time. You'd just never know because unlike with Lana, you don't get to hear them. The sheer amount of unreleased material of Lana's we have is insane. All of which we were never supposed to hear in the first place. So I will never be mad at Lana for going back into her incredible unreleased catalog. Also, it's clear she has intentionally chosen to include these tracks for the concept of the album - as detailed in that now gone IG post. Stop being ungrateful. Two standard albums and a spoken word album/poetry book in one year. This woman gives us more than literally any other artist.

Personally the timing doesn't seem off to me? For a normal artist, yeah. But this is Lana. She's never done things according to any logical timelime

I really don't think the filter helped the video. I think it's largely why it looked so unsettling. Like could she not use the film noir / vintage murder footage filter for once

I hope she doesn't ditch "Lana Del Rey" and go back to using her real name. I know she doesn't associate with the persona attached to the stage name anymore but we don't either. We associate Lana with so much more than the BTD era. I can't imagine having her records listed under anything else. Marina (and the Diamonds) teas.

The way the actual booklet is going to have no photos or lyrics and just be the credits over the same beige from the standard cover's border Or she'll just troll and include the lyrics to Arcadia or the trio-singles and nothing else like she's been doing since Honeymoon I haven't listened to Dealer, so idk how it ends, but I feel like Dealer --> Thunder could be a missed moment depending on how Thunder starts. Maybe NOTG --> Living Legend as well.

As much as I LOVE the Target cover, I'll be using the blue, side profile cover in my iTunes. It's my favorite and I feel it fits the best out of all the covers. But maybe that will change once I hear the entire album, who knows?
