16 minutes ago, Thoth said:I don't understand why people are harsh on lustforlife. Everybody made fun of them while they were spilling information like Text Book is the opening track etc. but the information turned out to be true in the end.
They're trying to reverse-psychology him into leaking or spilling more info about the tracks to 'prove himself'. The manipulation of it all!

I stand with lustforlife.
If he's issgouding from that other forum, he's got excellent taste and is as reliable as they come.
Sweet Carolina is gonna be a collapse!

Lana is known for her honesty, yes.
Personally, I feel like she only stressed that there will "probably always be more" music just to keep the door open and not be too dramatic.
But we'll see

Isn't this the opposite of transparency I feel like she was improvising her speech and misused this word because I have no idea how this is helping her be more transparent.

i guess it’ll just be a chill ‘era’ or maybe she won’t do ‘eras’ anymore ?
thoughts ?
Yeah I don't think she will be doing 'eras' anymore. At least, I believe Arcadia is the last we'll hear from her about Blue Banisters.
She might drop a video for the cover album like she did for Summertime, but I don't see her doing any heavy promo. She wants out of the fame.

The piano when she sings 'My curves, San Gabriel all day'. BRILLIANT so many details that keep revealing itself the more I listen. Drew Erickson did an amazing job.

Kinda saw this coming. I do support her decision but I'm not sure how she plans to achieve more 'transparency' with this...
She'll be back.

Honestly, after the 3 singles my expectations for the album were pretty low. But whew, she knocked it out of the park with Arcadia. One of her best releases in a hot minute. She still has that magic. There is hope after all

7 hours ago, May said:i like arcadia, her vocals sound good but the vocals on some lines are simply painful on the ears especially in earphones idk if it’s her mic technique or if it’s the production or what but i have to turn the volume down right before a couple of certain lines
This is also how I feel about the Blue Banisters title track. Like the volume of her vocals are all over the place, it kinda sounds like she isn't controlling her breathing properly? And that leads to her 'overshooting' some of the lines and it ends up being painful to hear.
Her vocals used to sound very effortless but now it sounds like she's struggling a bit to keep it under control

That somber Arcaaaadia at 3:21 followed by this defeated, resigned flourish of strings weeping in the background is one of the highlights of her discography. Wow, her mind!
This song is so fucking depressing, I LOVE IT.

1 minute ago, Bones Are Blue said:To avoid further confusion, I'm pretty sure this list only includes the songwriters rather than the producers? For example, we know Text Book is co-produced by Dean Reid and Zach Dawes, but it was written by only Lana and Gave. The Trio has no lyrics so the producer (Ennio Morricone) is the only credited 'writer' lol
Yep these are songwriting credits

Just now, Be Free said:Here says Cherry Blossom is with Rick hehe
Yeah Rick is a composer on the song. Doesn't mean he necessarily produced it tho.

I'm looking at her store now (where the tracklist came from) and the release date which clearly said "8 October" was changed to 22 October.
The Vinyls are now a week later at 29 October.
Hopefully they didn't push it back a few weeks, and that we still get the digital on 8th of October.

Bye.
Thunder was GOLD.
I cant rock to it anymore.
Now we have two Thunders to listen to. If you want, just listen to the old version then. It's not that deep.

They were referring to the writing credits which we already have. Apple Music doesn't publish full production credits unfortunately
