  1. I have no doubt that A&W will be excellent, but I just have a weird feeling that I'll enjoy some other songs on this record a bit more
  2. It was probably a promotional single, but now that the album has been pushed back, I see at least one more single coming. Probably sometime in February. Pretty sure all of her plans for the music videos this era were on that camcorder that got stolen.
  3. Until we hear more information, my revised prediction for my top 5, Kintsugi pushing out Paris, Texas 1. Fingertips 2. Grandfather 3. Kintsugi 4. Taco Truck x VB 5. A&W
  4. Exactlyyyy. Everyone is going to have different reactions and rankings, unlike the last two albums where a majority of people agreed on what the best tracks were. That's the sign of a great, thoughtful record.
  5. Ok, let's stop attacking people for no reason. @taco truck listed valid concerns about the upcoming record, they aren't blindly hating unlike that anime character who lives in his mother's basement.
  6. I think most of the songs will have some sort of build up or change, so even if you don't like the track overall I think there will be something about each track someone will like
  7. I think it might be the track with the lyric that spills about Patty that Eclipse teased yesterday.
  8. Right..and the fact that we have two people who have two completely different responses to which tracks they love just shows we're in for a treat anyways. It's very clear what the best songs on Chemtrails and Blue Banisters are because they were just fine albums. This one seems to have something for everyone.
  9. Am I the only one, who despite all of this information, still has no idea what this album is going to sound like
  10. A&W Grandfather The Grants Let the Light In Tunnel Fingertips Paris, Texas Jon Batiste Interlude Taco Truck Candy Necklace Fishtail Peppers Sweet Judah Smith Interlude Margaret Kintsugi Boz's ranking, except Margaret is last and Grandfather is #1.
  11. Kintsugi vs Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he deep sea fishes duking it out, the favorite tracks between the two insiders
  12. I wouldn't describe any Lana track as "barely opening her lips over a bare piano," so for that fact alone that she's trying something different, I know i'm going to love it. If I don't, I know I'll at least appreciate it.
  13. I seriously trust Kintsugi much more. BoZ is great and reliable, but I rarely agree with his assessments on things. I think the people who hated Chemtrails and Blue Banisters the most will agree with BoZ's takes, and the people who were more sympathetic to the meandering structures of those two records will be more in line with Kintsugi's taste.
  14. I love those tracks as well. Kintsugi will be a masterpiece, I just think all of the other tracks will be better than Sweet
  15. Putting the pieces of everything we know together, go in to this album expecting piano tracks, but better piano tracks than Chemtrails and Blue Banisters combined. More lush, grand, and experimental production added to them. He already crushed the dreams of the electric guitar truthers in this forum
  16. yeah, BoZ said there were tons of mistakes on the mockup; I'm assuming he meant this was one of them
