I think we'll get at least one more track, but it might be something like "Sweet" for February/Valentine's Day. I don't think she wants the best of the best out there before the album like she did in the past.

Even back in the Honeymoon days, she did an interview saying that she hated promoting her albums and her managers always got mad at her for being lazy. Now she has more freedom than she did before to just drop records with little to no promotion.

I truly think he just meant that he was surprised that she sampled a fan favorite song in such a cool/innovative way. I don't think he meant that he was surprised that some song from years ago was sampled

There's definitely some confusion over the word surprise here. Kintsugi being surprised she sampled a song doesn't mean that it will be some obscure track from her first album in 2010 that only her superfans know, it just means that he was surprised she sampled a track so clearly.

Pawn shop blues is a fan favorite but she wrote it with someone else, and when you sample music you must credit that other songwriter's name in the writing credits. The only names for writers for this track are Lana and Jack Antonoff lol

idk, I think him saying absolute fan favorite rules something pre-2019 out because most of the fan favorite unreleased tracks were written with Rick or other writers. The only people credited on that last track for songwriting are her and Jack, so that means it's either an unreleased track she wrote completely on her own (I mean, if there's an unreleased Lana track that is completely self written that is also a fan favorite that I'm missing, please tell me) or it's automatically NFR onwards

He said it's an absolute fan favorite so it is something 2019 onwards - he didn't say we would be surprised by the sample; just that he wanted to keep the sample a surprise for us to hear given that he already spoiled so much The only song from AKA that is an "absolute fan favorite" is Pawn Shop Blues, and that can't possibly be it because other people have writing credits on that song
