I guess I just don't understand what the point of adding "these are older songs" is while writing a review. That's just a cool fact, it doesn't contribute anything to me. If I was a casual listener of Lana and didn't follow her enough to care about leaked material, I would have never been able to pick out exactly which ones were older material, nor do I understand what it really matters for. Just review the music

Why is everyone acting like half of the album is unreleased, shelved songs? There's four of them, out of fifteen, with one that was unheard.

The only reason I could see NME giving this a lower rating than Chemtrails is that there was no major music video attached to it. Because this album is by and large a more completed, thought out and better record

here's the deal... i don't care about what critics say, especially when Lust for Lice is rated higher on Metacritic than Ultraviolence

Unless you're an audiophile like some, you won't hear it. It sounds crystal clear to me as well.
