Rock Candy Sweet was the "White Hot Forever" to Tulsa Jesus Freak, but the opposite direction I guess? Like, "Loved You Then and Now" had the lyric Rock Candy Sweet and she was about to change the name of the song + name the album it, but she had a change of mind.

Hey girlies, "Text Book" is a magnum opus up there with "Shades of Cool" and "Venice Bitch"

I argue that these songs have some of her best works of lyricism to date. They're poetic without being rigid, they're relatable without being basic and most importantly they have that classic feeling of ambience and nostalgia

I really hope the rest of the record has these complex, poetic structures. The emotional reward and payoff is amazing
