  1. Everyone talks about Born to Die - Ultraviolence - Honeymoon, while I talk about AKA - Born to Die - Ultraviolence - Honeymoon - Norman Fucking Rockwell! - Chemtrails Over the Country Club - Blue Banisters
  2. Text Book being the most streamed track and scrobbled on last.fm, as she deserves
  3. Sirens: Aviation AKA: Oh Say Can You See/Mermaid Motel BTD: Born to Die Paradise: Cola UV: Shades of Cool HM: Swan Song LFL: Change NFR: Venice Bitch/Bartender/The Greatest COTCC: Chemtrails over the Country Club/White Dress
  4. Me to all of you, who after hearing those three tracks, think we're still getting "pop bangers!!!!!" Please. please just put Born to Die and Lust for Life on repeat and leave the rest of us alone who don't need her to be a pop star
  5. Trust me, on every single other social media platform, NFR is beloved. The people on this forum are just perpetually stuck in 2015.
  6. Literally almost everyone outside of this forum loves NFR.
  7. Well, know I adore the both you and your posts! I think one of the most striking things about her evolution, that someone else here mentioned to me, is that Lana has grown with her fans. Instead of being caught in a one note merry-go-round, like other singers. As I've grown older, I had to reorient my perspective and priorities in life many times, that I've grown to appreciate those contemplative and ambient moments that shine through these songs from Norman onwards, while still looking back fondly and appreciating the timeless quality of her entire catalog. I truly think that she captures a snapshot out of her life, turns it into poetry and music, and places it in her life's work. It just happens that I've been following a similar path as time goes forward.
  8. You say there's gaps to fill in, so here Here's the deal My father never stepped in when his wife would rage at me So I ended up awkward but sweet Later then hospitals, stand still on my feet Comfortably numb, but with lithium came poetry And baby, I, I’ve been running on star drip IV's for so long I wouldn't know how cruel the world was Hot fire, hot weather, hot coffee, I'm better So I turn, but I learn (It from you, babe) Not to turn into a wildfire To light up your night With only my smile and nothing that hurts Baby, I run like a wildflower I live on sheer willpower I promise that nothing will burn you Nothing will burn, burn, burn Like the others, baby, burns, burns, burns Burn, burn, burn (Like the others, baby) Like the others, baby, burns, burns, burns These songs
  9. Ever since I listened to Video Games over ten years ago before Born to Die was released, I knew that this was the direction and space she needed to take up. She has such a way with words and songwriting.
  10. These songs are everything I've been dreaming of Lana making coming to life So proud
  11. Yes, I can fucking read. Don't you ever talk to me like that again. It was two different people posting, ontherocks and then Eclipse, who was the one who highlighted "fanbase will react if the rest of the album is this wordheavy." Don't come and tell me that I can't read, when you don't even have what I posted correctly.
  12. 6 hours ago, ontherocks said: Really loving all of the three songs now and the direction she went with these. Really curious to hear how the rest will turn out and how her fanbase will react if the rest of the album is this wordheavy Eclipse: Her best I fear
  13. Eclipse said the rest of the album is wordheavy The f words who are stuck in the previous decade lost LMAOOOOOOOOOOO Queen of turning poetry into amazing, abstract music that makes you come back for more.
  14. Yes bestie, good idea (also because I know you'll hate it in a week)
  15. I realized that I don't think F*ntano likes the "moaning" type tracks she makes He still has a problem with Ultraviolence to this day, and I know there's been some debate about whether Wildflower is good or not, but that is the closest track we've been to Ultraviolence energy in a long time
  16. It really isn't. I really like the order of Text Book -> Wildflower -> BB, but we all know that "THERE'S A PICTURE ON THE WALL" is going to open smh
  17. If she continues the title track placement pattern, and Blue Banisters is the opening, I may have some re-arranging to do because the sudden opening doesn't make sense
  18. I have to agree with y'all, I don't really see Blue Banisters as an opening track. It should come after Textbook and Wildflower Wildfire as track 3, or it would even be a great closer
  19. Yes, TB -> WW -> BB is the elite way to listen to these songs
  20. None of these songs sound like anything on Chemtrails. These sister record theories are silly. I listened to White Dress right after Wildflower, and it sounds so mute in comparison (not a bad thing)
  21. Given that she's 35 years old and singing about wanting children and to settle down with a family and friends by her side, it's safe to assume we won't be getting "BoRn to DiE BeAtS"
