  1. Change, Looking for America, Text Book and The Greatest are her best songs with social or political commentary.
  2. I really hope that whatever unreleased tracks end up making the album, that there is something different about them. Unpopular opinion, but I enjoy when she has a new take on a previously heard song.
  3. I feel like the album trailer will be clips from what was originally thought to be from the video of Blue Banisters lol
  4. I can't stop thinking about this fact So grateful
  5. The album is titled Blue Banisters and the cover is the one with the dogs
  6. How many tracks are y'all thinking? I'm thinking 12 or 13
  7. AHHHHHH I was wrong love manifesting bad things to be rewarded with pleasant surprises An october album finally
  8. An October album would be a DREAM, but Blue Banisters is giving November or January vibes
  9. Still don't believe anything is coming soon. Why are we trusting random accounts that aren't BoZ or Eclipse again
  10. If there's a Target Edition cover, the album pre-order must be ready to be announced within the coming weeks, right? Right?
  11. Pretty sure that BoZ meant that the leaked demos have been reworked for the album. Could be wrong, though.
  12. They should have gotten the Blue Banisters track list tattooed on them instead
  13. For me, I feel like I'm at a point in Lana's catalog where I'm completely satisfied and can wait for whenever she wants to put out Arcadia and the new record I just don't take all of the delays so personally anymore. The wait for Norman Fucking Rockwell felt like torture, and nothing could ever be worse than that imo
  14. Yeah, I totally hear you on that. I think that's a good thing, though. To show us where she's going next on her journey. I'm more so talking about people who think albums like Born to Die, Honeymoon, Ultraviolence, LFL, etc all sound the same just because they're downtempo lol
  15. I think the most annoying criticism of Lana's music that rubs me the wrong way is that everything sounds the same because of stripped down production. This frustrates me, because I truly cannot think of many songs, if at all, where I was like, "this sounds like it could be on another record of hers!!!" She is very talented at world building in her album concepts. The only songs I've ever thought that were a few tracks on Chemtrails could have been on Norman, and that's because Jack is a very simplistic producer. None of these Blue Banisters singles so far sound like they could be on any of her albums to me.
  16. Title tracks, I make the rules: Honeymoon Chemtrails Over the Country Club Blue Banisters Born to Die Ultraviolence Lust for Life Norman Fucking Rockwell
  17. Same. And "Rock Candy Sweet" would be extremely cringeworthy at this point to pair with this sound
  18. It does make sense why she would consider Arcadia as an album title. It's so pretty. However, I do think that it is too much "fantasy," if that makes sense - even if it is the name of real places. Blue Banisters as a title conveys this stream of consciousness, hyper-realism that she's been working through with the music so far.
  19. Whoever made those lyrics did try a little more than the usual suspects, I actually like them
  20. It seems fake to me because something was erased under it. Where did you get this
  21. Agreed - Wildflower Wildfire is just "good" to me, but it really does have some fantastic lines in it I adore the other two, though. Especially the title track which I think is a career highlight
