I take back all of my slander against Living Legend earlier, I was listening to the wrong version Yeah, this album is going to be a masterpiece

I hope Living Legend and Nectar of the Gods are updated. Thunder and especially Cherry Blossom are fine if they stayed the same as they are.

that was so fun everyone using "Yes to Heaven" showing up in Shazam as a way to "disprove" the song titles especially Yosemite, us searching for the mysterious 12th or more track, and then the reality sept in that there really were only 11 tracks

yeah, the tracklist reveal is always my favourite part of the pre-release. Love seeing how the tracklist looks like vs how I imagined it then we all make predictions for how the songs will sound like

regardless how one may feel about the name dropping in the title track, the lyrics of the three singles exemplify a songwriter at the top of their craft

Sad that we missed out on LYTAN, but really won when she scrapped I Can Fly. I would have been so annoyed if a soundtrack song made the record blessing in disguise.

Blue Banisters is a better album title than all of those. Lmao. Wildflower Wildfire would be a cute one, though.

If it's about an hour or over an hour, then Cherry Blossom and the interlude will probably be the shortest songs on the record, and each of the other songs will be around 4-5 minutes in length.

Also...I was on instagram earlier and saw one of the reliable Lana fanpages say that the album is going to be over an hour long.... I don't remember seeing that. Was that also confirmed today?

Cannot wait to write my thesis regarding the function of "Dealer" in Elizabeth Grant's second 2021 album, Blue Banisters.

Contrasting the Blue Banisters record to Chemtrails Over the Country Club, this record seems much more firmly planted in a reality that she is living out and wants to express through her music. There is an air of uncertainty, aimlessness and lack of direction all throughout Chemtrails. But this time, it seems like she has found what she wanted to leave LA for.

I've grown to love all of Lana's album covers (except for COCC), and definitely see why she has chosen them. But with the Blue Banisters cover, I feel a stronger connection between its imagery and the music that I haven't felt since Ultraviolence. It is a cover that is not only older, but wiser and much more intimate. A reflection of a woman who has allowed herself to shed away the persona she made for self-preservation, and is now ready to talk with you about her life story over a glass of liquor in the kitchen or during a starry night on the balcony. Like we're sitting on the front porch with her, her friends and family after finally settling down in a new town. In my opinion, I think the album covers of Ultraviolence, Norman Fucking Rockwell and now Blue Banisters definitely speak to me in more of a storytelling way than any of her other records.

Just like I predicted yesterday, I already knew she started her next project lol. Hope we can finally hear Rock Candy Sweet/Loved You Then and Now, the new Yosemite at this point.

It's not like we're basing our opinions off of low quality, out of context snippets. We have had some of these songs for years now, I think we're entitled to an opinion on the album because of that lol.

Ok I thought that I was the only one who finds this track boring and annoying as hell This is shaping up to be another Lust for Life. Some of her best (Thunder, Cherry Blossom, Blue Banisters, Text Book) with some of her worst (Living Legend, Nectar of the Gods, some random interlude no one will care about)
