Yeah, i'm not feeling the "sunny" vibes of the two tracks, paired with the very black and white/gray imagery of the single covers and album cover. I STILL feel like Chemtrails and LMLYLAW are her most "Winter" tracks to date. What does "sunny" even mean

I know this is going to sound really weird, but I have this fixation with playlists and finding new ways to listen to my favorite artists, and I think I found my new way to listen to Lana specifically i start with Chemtrails + LMLYLAW as the first two tracks. Then I choose two tracks from each record in reverse chronological order (Norman to BTD), then repeat the process by choosing Chemtrails + LMLYLAW and then choosing two different tracks from each record. I've been enjoying listening to her this way because it shows how much she's grown but how much of her catalog is just a universe I can spend so much time in because of how timeless her music is.

I just listened to "Bartender" right after LMLYLAW, and wow. "Bartender" truly feels like it's in a liminal state between "Norman Fucking Rockwell" and "Chemtrails over the Country Club." It fits both records perfectly, imo. It's so funny how it was the first track that she had ready for "Norman Fucking Rockwell," yet almost predicts "Chemtrails" in a way that Yosemite will.
