I'll never get over the OG XCX3 never seeing the light of day with visuals and promo + a release. Atlantic should've rush released it as soon as things started leaking considering the album had been done for how long... rip...
 
Edit: does charli even wanna leave the label? I assumed despite how hard it is to release music she'd want to stay due to whatever funding she gets + management etc

charli is such an amazing, talented, beautiful artist/person, has an iconic discography, and the more you think about how much she deserves vs what she receives the sadder it gets

im starting to think vroom vroom isnt going #1...

Even if the photoshoot was gonna be used again what would they use it for when Charli herself has said no mixtape/album is in the works? Unless it's a surprise

I don't get why Atlantic didn't take the mixtapes as a chance to try push for some more mainstream success considering OOMH got a bunch of streams especially with like... the non existent promo pop2 had, they could've easily filmed an MV+sent it to radios and pushed it even just for moderate success... charli gets some high streams (for an artist that isn't a-list) on songs she doesn't even promo at all rip

there was plenty of material between the two projects and ALL of the songs she's sitting on to release an absolutely phenomenal LP

Someone was mentioning alleged N1A music videos that Atlantic tried to cover for being raunchy and honestly if they let her release those she would get more promo since it would be considered controversial

it'd be nice to just have one more major label push era and see how it goes, if it doesn't work out, downsize, if it does, move to an adjacent label

album treatment = full promotion, singles, music videos, everything important
 
mixtape = just the music without the label having to pay for anything other than the production

in a perfect world... we would have gotten her third album w/that as the second single after ATAP
 
i mean, the music she's released in stead is WAY better, but maybe she'd be out of the contract now
