Okay, this makes a lot of sense then. The album (as have Lana’s past albums) will release at midnight local time globally, except for most of North America. When the album drops in New York (Eastern Time) at 12AM, it will simultaneously drop at 11PM Central, 10PM Mountain, and 9PM Pacific. I kinda understand why they do this, but it doesn’t make it any less confusing! Hope this does clear things up though.

This makes the most sense if what we’re being told is true. It happens all the time — an artist reworking one song for digital release when the album has already been pressed on vinyl. It’s a blessing in disguise imo, with the vinyl version leaking and the digital version not yet leaked! It makes sense given that it was described as “massive” and that one publication calling it glitch pop Lana literally did this with Fuck it I love you! I wonder how different Candy Necklace could be tho??
