    It’s always exciting when you get a new record goin’. There’s this song I did with Paul Epworth, it’s called “Blue Morning”, and it’s inspired by The Doors. It’s more rock and upbeat than anything I’ve ever done. I’m really proud of it. Just yesterday I’ve found out that I’ll be performing on MTV awards (in September), and we’re planning to launch it there. So yeah, it’s exciting.

    old money makes me think of an idyllic, suburban neighborhood at twilight, homes with happy, idyllic, wealthier families, something very typically nostalgic and american, like high school football games, trophies, prom-queens, red letterman jackets, for some reason, like she's reflecting back on happier, more simple times, or thinking of families and livelihoods so different yet so familiar to her

    i listened to american teenager for the first time last night and i LOVED IT :wub: before that, i've never listened to an ethel cain song before, so it was very new to me, i also listened to crush but i wasn't into it nearly as much, but i'll definitely be exploring more of her music!
