Is "...used to go to the Comfort Inn" still the best guess for the lyrics?  It makes sense but it just doesn't sound quite right to me :daydream: neither does "Palm Parade"

i hear comfort inn clearly enough in the studio version, in the live version, she makes a p sound but i still believe it's comfort inn because it makes enough sense and she could've just got her words mixed up during the live performance

Think this is my first time hearing the title

It’s always exciting when you get a new record goin’. There’s this song I did with Paul Epworth, it’s called “Blue Morning”, and it’s inspired by The Doors. It’s more rock and upbeat than anything I’ve ever done. I’m really proud of it. Just yesterday I’ve found out that I’ll be performing on MTV awards (in September), and we’re planning to launch it there. So yeah, it’s exciting.

Can we pleaseeee make this a game? I agree I think it would be fun :really:

Yosemite always gave me remote log cabin on a gloomy day vibes, probably because she mentions a cabin in the lyrics

The next person can do Old Money if they want

old money makes me think of an idyllic, suburban neighborhood at twilight, homes with happy, idyllic, wealthier families, something very typically nostalgic and american, like high school football games, trophies, prom-queens, red letterman jackets, for some reason, like she's reflecting back on happier, more simple times, or thinking of families and livelihoods so different yet so familiar to her

for the next person... perhaps... love!

  5. i listened to american teenager for the first time last night and i LOVED IT  before that, i've never listened to an ethel cain song before, so it was very new to me, i also listened to crush but i wasn't into it nearly as much, but i'll definitely be exploring more of her music!

I was bored so I just looked up who Lana is currently following and I found out that she recently started following ferrolorraine - a woman who is sharing songwriting tips. That's interesting and cool for sure! :seeit:

interesting indeed... since she doesn't need songwriting tips :seeit:
