this video is so fucking stupid LMFAO :toofunny:

her finishing off by giving her own music a shout-out when it has nothing to do with what she was talking about and to basically say to support Christian artists!! (not demonic!) is so hilarious and corny as though she isn’t trying to capitalize off religion (or i guess more so inducing religious fear) by making content on those who are successful and apparently demonic then comparing them to her apparent holy self and how thy has the blessed music because she embraced jesus is so… :tiffany:

some christians ironically seem to put a lot of faith in the devil/satan considering how much they talk about him and how scared they seem to be of him lol :tiffany: i most certainly believe in god but i don't believe in satan and i feel like people who are religious/christians/anything in that realm would be better off not giving the concept of satan so much power... but perhaps that wouldn't go with what the bible says, i just don't think satan's real and i feel like we should be worrying about the evil that happens in the actual world instead of some sort of abstract, spiritual/otherworldly evil, if satan is as weak as god is strong, why worry about him at all?

Let's start guessing all the place names she'll drop across the album :teehee:

    – Tulsa

    – Tuscaloosa

    ...

hoping she references alabama like she did in pin up galore :pray2: it would make sense since she's been in alabama recently and she really did seem to live there at one point :true:

Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber also posted a story around the same time as Lana which said "one night in Vegas" and they're also wearing black...

what the fuck is going on, i'm scared :oprah2: are they all starting a cult?

Some people talking about the same thing but ill say it anyways....

I just came to say that I hope a demo of this song leaks or at least an unmastered/unmixed version because the high-pass filter they put over her vocals are EAR WRENCHING. It's honestly the only reason why I don't listen to this song as often... very strange creative decision

can you explain what the high-pass filter sounds like/is doing to her voice in comparison to other songs? i never noticed a difference between her vocals on american compared to other songs off of paradise or born to die

Oh yeah love that one too. That should've been in the Candy Necklace MV too.

If we're talking about Jon, what are the chances that Jon will produce something for Lasso too? He's not a country musician but with Lana, everything is possible

considering how much i love candy necklace, i would be here for it :true: i feel like it could work, it probably won't necessarily sound like country, but in the outro portion of candy necklace when they're singing together, you can hear some guitars, and i feel like it would work alongside more outwardly country-oriented songs :true:

From the very first pre-pre release of Lust For Life in 2016. We know that Vintage Music was Love, SR was Something Real (13 Beaches). What about the other names there :stareney2:

i'm pretty sure reflec is confirmed by now and is said to be a david kahne outtake

round-up is also rumored to be a david kahne outtake, but i'm not really sure where that originated from

Manifesting 0 interludes, interludes are fillers, they take some other (possibly amazing) songs' place away. Burnt Norton is amazing as an interlude but I really hope there aren't any interludes in Lasso. If she wants to include something, then maybe in a music video...

john batiste interlude is my exception, i usually don't like interludes because they're often just filler or could just be fully-fleshed out songs... but john batiste interlude stands on it's own :true:

Sometimes I feel like Lana squanders her own potential :trisha: literally at the PEAK of her career rn, so much acclaim, unreleased tracks going viral, finally recognised as a legendary songstress & instead of releasing a bombastic psychedelic surf rock trip hop album which would get the entire GP by their fucking THROATS she’s going to drop a country album :lange:

like all we need is one album that sounds like a perfect mixture of Stargirl interlude, Venice bitch, Florida kilos, Brooklyn baby, Peppers, A&W and FIILY and she would literally be on a world tour almost as big as Taylor’s :oprah:

    Lemme dream n manifest Chile…..

honestly... we need to move on from having such specific expectations of her music or what she's going to do next and just let do what she wants to do, it should be clear as day she isn't making music to maximize her commercial success/popularity, she does what she wants to do, and we should trust her ability to do it well, it seems some people are expecting to release something similar to mainstream country but we all know she's going to take inspiration from the music of the past and it'll be something more elevated and more similar to her style, and let's not forget she isn't necessarily the greatest at describing her music's sound

and i hope it doesn't sound like i'm singling you out, but i don't think she's ever released anything which could be considered psychedelic surf rock trip hop... and i know you're just describing some sort of vibe or general sound, but she's already released more bombastic/psychedelic work, like born to die, which had beats and was her most energetic record, and ultraviolence was psychedelic... i'm sorry, but if you're really expecting psychedelic surf rock trip hop, especially at this point, you're just going to end up being disappointed because she wasn't done anything like born to die, ultraviolence, or even honeymoon in a long time, her sound definitely shifted to something more mellow, introspective, and matured back in 2019 and she's just going to continue forward with different things, but you can always go back to ultraviolence if you want that sound, she could work with dan auerbach again in the future hypothetically but it probably wouldn't sound like an ultraviolence song, she's going to do what she wants to do... she worked with mike dean of all people and we ended up with a piano ballad
