i seriously believe that people will & can find anything racist/sexist/offensive/etc. if they overanalyze it enough, it's ridiculous, when ultimately it's not that serious at all, the aesthetic is all about nature & simple living, gardening, cooking, farm animals, etc. and i can see why people love it because it's very pleasant and people just simply like the look & aesthetic of fields with flowers, making your own food, wearing "cottagecore" style dresses, etc. perhaps it does reflect a time period of "white eurocentric lifestyle" however that isn't what the cottagecore aesthetic represents so it's not even really relevant in today's world... i guess i could see how the chemtrails aesthetic is slightly cottagecore, however it's mostly just inspired by the south/midwest and is a bit more naturistic, it's sad how people could equate that with a time of racial inequality simply because it has a slightly "cottagecore" style

let's not forget that @YourGirl666 is the one member who keeps the hype for unleaked masterpieces consistently ALIVE, they are passionate & dedicated

definitely, actually, the only song i can think of in her entire repertoire of music that's depressing is the original beautiful people demo from 2014 (nothing with that! btw) her music is definitely emotive & "slow" however i still think it's full of life, her musical style isn't everyone's cup of tea, which is okay, however i feel like a lot of people who simply think it's melodramatic & depressive haven't even heard a lot of her stuff, and she has a lot of songs which aren't even driven by a sad or depressive emotion, like diet mountain dew, radio, west coast, high by the beach, etc.

the book/author itself isn't "problematic", the only thing that's truly problematic is romantizing the story, which vladimir nabokov was highly against, he didn't want any girls on the cover of the novel for that reason, unfortunately lots of copies of the book which had a girl on the cover were still produced

anybody who thinks that all of lana's music sounds the same has seriously NEVER listened to her music, it's the silliest & the most frustrating criticism of her music because it's the opposite of the truth

if you're really bothered by a once-a-day tracklist post that's really your problem, just skip over them, they aren't hurting anybody by posting them
