I feel like she's the shitter and failed version of Lana. With songs like Hollywood, Primadonna, Homewrecker. She's lyrically missed the point and musically a wanna of Katy Perry. Marina adores Lana, naturally. Marina is just so harsh. And not in a cool, edgy way, just sonically harsh I think. She makes good songs though I have to give her that. When Electra Heart came out I jammed to Lies, Homewrecker, Primadonna a lot.

I don't think Icona Pop really changed much about I Love It tbh. Has anyone heard their album? They kinda suck. I Love It has Charli written all over it. Even the parts where she's apparently not singing sound just like her. Or are trying to be her. And I kinda feel like everything before Stay Away is shit. Grins is my faaaaaave song.

Thanks! Yeah I've always seen her as pretty independent as an artist. I think that line from Go Go Dancer tho is just a bit of sarcasm and is part of her whole image. Although it's obviously a true statement. All the plastic surgery stuff, while it may be common, isn't proven and it reminds me of when people bring it up for Beyonce or GaGa. Either way I think it just enhanced her image and I don't think I ever heard about a nose job before. Lips yes but I think that's just cute for her I guess.

Can someone explain to me this whole rich daddy thing? About him paying for her career? I'm pretty sure I never heard of this other than people speculating when she first came out that she was a contrived mess. Which I believe is untrue since the bitch writes all her songs and is a beautiful goddess.
