    i yeah think the confusion came from the slang like "KEEP IT" or "THROW IT" Keep it as is its a banger and you should release it sis. 

    Yeah I wouldn't mind a Ed sheran feature if his part wasn't too too long. Just so it helps her chart  :ohno:

    I am totally surprise that they haven't mad her work with Max Martin before, it looks like they keep trying to sell her like a max martin pop girl image you know? And is Dua Lipa any good? I've only heard her New Girls song.

    I just looked at other artist streaming numbers (went to charts) and OMFG i am so alienated from the straights i don't know anyone who plays XXXtension, drake, or ect but they DO numbers. I'm assuming the majority of the people on spotify is the youth? So like college kids and teenagers are hearing this?

    I don’t think you understand how much money goes into a radio campaign, plus its useless if the GP isnt behind it. Labels are big on looking at streaming numbers to decide what to push to radio now, and Charli’s streaming numbers aren’t there. Pop girls across the board are struggling in the streaming age. Teams need to be a lot more creative with marketing ideas because your standared “get the label to put it on the radio” doesnt really work anymore. Dua Lipa would still be a nobody without the New Rules video going viral.

     I'm a buy on iTunes and play kind of guy but since I found out about this I started playing Charli XCX on spotify, i have her on all day i just like turn off my speakers when im sleeping lol, I turned off adblocker and everything for her  :defeated:  Do we have an idea about her stream numbers? It says 10million monthly viewers so I thought she was doing okay.

    I totally get it on the Taylor tour because like you say, I doubt she has full choice of what songs go on that set list. But with things like this where she’s obviously been asked if she wants a spot on the festival or whatever it is, then surely she has more creative control

    i dont think she's ever performed Porsche (that i know of) which is one of my favorites  :defeated:

    and thinking about her RL making decisions you would think they would want her to perform her to perform more newer songs, my mindset is that they've heard the older songs before, some of the people at the concert MIGHT go home and listen to her older hits a a couple of times. If she performs her new music and might get new fans. But then again I think a lot of her songs aren't PG friendly and the company prolly takes into consideration that most of snake's audience are teens.  :deadbanana:

    This is cute but why does she feel like she has to sing songs like I Love It and Break The Rules, I mean she even said she doesn’t like Break The Rules. It’s frustrating that she doesn’t think her other material is good enough to play to masses of people and that she has to play crowd pleasers to stay relevant. But I feel like that’s just plastering her as a one hit wonder artist to people that don’t even know she has other songs. She comes on and people are like who? And then Boom Clap/Break The Rules/I Love It comes on and they’re like oh yeah I remember this bop from 3000 years ago. Imagine she just blasted on the stage with Trophy.

    yeah! i was thinking the record label were the ones choosing the set list, specially for the Republican tour, but for shows like this I def think she could amp it up! I felt like she had quite a few fans there. It looks like she is having fun so I am glad for that  :flutter:

    this is kind of off topic but like how did all the Angels end up in a Lana Del Rey forums? lol I would expect this forum to be filled with Marina, Melanie, Lorde, Halsey (maybe?) and Sky Ferreira (if she still has any) stans. I came her because of @wheretfissticky mention this forum.

      Yes!! Lol! I'm glad you said that, I feel the same way. I would like another fully fledged PC project with a little more going on, maybe--but she is always doing so much shit that I hope some of the ACTUALLY NEW stuff comes soon. I know that amazing clip is probably Umru, but I would love her to work with Jam City. Honestly, if I could have her work with any producer I'd love to hear her work with Arca, I'm sure they'd come up with some absolutely crazy shit. Or Sega Bodega, that shit would be AMAZING. 

    OMFG I want this! I think ArcaXCharliXCX would bang!

    do ya'll think her contract expires after 3 albums and 3 album tours so that's why her label is only letting her release mix tapes and singles because they still want to make some coin off of her? Not only that but they still make money from songs she writes for other artist right? I have no idea how these things work so im just guessing here lol

    don't assume that she'll never release another album again, that's just silly considering it's in her contract.

     

    i'm sure she will release an actual album early next year.

    girl are we sure about this? omg if yes then yass. anyone know when her contract expires and how many albums she needs to release per her current contract?

    I keep forgetting to ask but does anyone have the Charli XCX Number 1 Angle/ Pop 2 memes where the albums are like scriptures or the 10 commandments? I saw them when I was only mildly obsess with her and I want to share that with mow locals.
