In turn, the artist agrees to give the company a percentage of an increased number of their revenue streams, often including sales of recorded music, live performances, publishing and more."

     

    But I'm pretty sure that they have control over everything, in terms of image, the rights of her songs, and other stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.

     

    A 360 deal is when a label agrees to not only financially support an artist’s recording but also in other areas, for example: marketing, publishing, distribution, touring, merchandising, etc., in exchange for a percentage of the profits gained on these things. Not every 360 deal contains all of those things but its the general idea of a 360 contract.

    anyway if anyone doesn't have a new zealand spotify account yet, make one bc there should never be any time you listen to 1999 that doesn't count for at least something and i know y'all are gonna be itching for it tomorrow 

    so exciting, this is the first time im doing this! so i get a vpn and set it to a New Zealand location and then make the account and email with that location?

    So now we can say it's official that the soundtrack was scrapped? Or this Friday we will have 2 new charli's songs and also new by Tommy?

    Am I really gonna need to go to the movies and sit through a movie until I hear Bricks plays :crossed:

    rando question but does charli’s team make fckyeahcharli’s graphics?? like their twitter header?? they’ve had it ready as soon as she’s announced her singles and if they’re fanmade they’re very consistent with charli’s own graphics.

    that's an interesting thought, i dont think they ever post/mention leaks either right?

    I'm very happy with Troye being the feature (he's better than some random rapper guy) and I really think you guys should wait to hear the song with him

    Like, I understand some of you don't like him or even care about the music he does, but if 1999 had not been leaked no one would have any idea of what the song is like

     

    I'm really hyped for the song AND the music video

    i agree with this, glad one of us gays is getting some coin and getting to collab with an ICON like Charli. 

    oh that note, I am SOooooooOOOoo not feeling the cover art. Will definitely use something else. Also I hope the single is "mastered or itunes" i know its not that much of a difference but it makes me feel good  :creep:

    I convinced my brother to buy her new single when it comes out. i told him a sad story that Charli's label wants it to be a hit or they wont let her make new music  :toofunny:  ANYTHING for my QUEEN  :hooker:

    some people speculate Vol 2 coming out on Halloween but I really doubt it. She might release another one 1~2 years from now imo.

    this is what i  was thinking too, like a yearly October  thing. she is here to feed us. THE  LONGEVITY  :defeated:​

    Didn't she have an album before this though?

    she had a remix ep for Heart To Break

     

    and OMG this sounds totally reminds me of the work of Yasutaka Nakata (producer), really like it!

    Some of us think she meant within a year, not by the end of the year. Which makes a lot more sense. :)
