    My first edit! I’m still a bit rusty, but I reworked/mashed up this version with...

    Not sure if y’all are into astrology, but whatever. I looked at Lana’s chart and she has her Chiron (asteroid that represents wounds) in her 1st house (which represents identity/ego). Rough placement.

    Maybe she's trying to make herself less about the looks and the glamour because she's feeling that it's unsustainable and/or she's just tired of it. Not that 30s is old or that older women aren't attractive, but yeah. She's also been wearing a whole lot less makeup lately and is seen bare faced quite frequently, which never would've happened 3 or 4 years ago.

     

    Everything she's given us for NFR has been decisively unglamourous so I'm not expecting that to suddenly change.

    She doesn’t need to be glamorous (I actually preferred her more chill UV era looks). I’m talking about how boring her MVs are, that’s why nobody is checking for them. I don’t mind simple MVs, but atleast serve us with something (a great shot, cool cinematography, trippy lighting - SOMETHING). Who wants to watch Lana’s back up dancers play with butterflies for 3 minutes like...

    I wonder if it's because Lana's popularity seems to have dropped a lot? Like her videos be getting really fucking low views. I see terrible youtubers get more views than her damn videos.

     

    Her label is probably focusing on younger acts like the Billie kid and w/e so they don't give a shit what Lana does because she doesn't bring in much profit anyway.

    I’m not surprised her new videos aren’t getting views, this woman is known for her beauty and visuals and she refuses to feed the GP with either. We want to be swept away in the fantasy, not bored to tears with corny iPhone footage.

    If she ever collaborates with rappers again id like it to be people like Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Gunna, Youngboy Never Broke Again - ones who rap quite melodically and quick but with ok enough lyrics to fit in with her songs which tend to have a theme or a meaning.

     

    I dont really like her songs with Rocky as hes a little slow, Travis Scott also is like that.

    Isn’t Youngboy the one who was caught on camera beating up his girlfriend and literally dragged her through a hotel hallway with her shirt torn off?

    It's like she's addicted to this wannabe kind of guys, if you look at all her past relationships and even her songs (AND NFR), it's literally all about dating a guy who thinks he's the shit, she seems to gravitate towards those type of people, the ones who haven't found any real big fame yet, the outcasts. Is it an insecurity thing?

     

    She has always dated guys like that even back in her lizzy days

    Lana and Ariana have the WORST taste in men, I can’t stand it. I’m waiting for the day they pull a Rihanna and start dating billionaire businessmen and not ugly little boys with dirty fingernails.

    MGK is repugnant. Collab or not, her choice in rappers is tragique. G-Eazy? MGK? Lmao, they’re the bottom of the barrel in the hip hop community, nobody takes these losers seriously. Even Rocky fell the fuck off in the past few years. She can’t befriend Kendrick Lamar or J.Cole or some shit? I heard a Lana mashup with Travis Scott the other day and that actually sounded really nice, I wouldn’t mind if they collaborated.

    This just shows that for LDR7 Lana should surprise drop. Pretty sure it was a huge part of why it was immediately acclaimed

     

     

    I feel like the whole surprise drop thing is played out now? Beyonce’s visuals had a bigger part to play IMO.

     

     

    Ikr I'll never understand the aclaim Beyonce is getting

     

    I understand her acclaim as a performer but her music is so generic, there’s nothing remotely remarkable about it.
